This is another try of multiple choices poll, after I got some info from SMF forum.

A continent is understood as being able to walk on the whole land mass with scout or any other land unit without foils or other any flying/"dimention gate event" way.

Pangaea, I included this option, though I believe this will take away the sea element meaning from the game. At least in some way, you really would not need to research Sea exploration techs early. This is what I think. But eventually, we may have a special version of Chiron with this feature if not chosen. We can branch our map.

Four or more continents.
Few islands (because the continents are large and there needs to be some sea space).
North and south poles on continents that reach them.

I can see, there are now 2 directions that differ. 3 votes are for 4 continents (which is, they are not connected) while 2 votes for pangaea. And some votes between.

I am thinking about continents shapes already. They will have developed coastlines, so their connecting/disconnecting should be easier.
