Whoever designed the game room doesn't understand the finer points of gambling :P
The odds on some games are in the players favor, meaning it's unlikely you will lose money playing them. 5 rolls on 1 of the dice games netted me 3000 EC.

i doubt you have played enough to tell that, so i guess you were just lucky.

lol one of the games has a 1 in 6 win chance, at 100 ec a play. The win on that game is 1000 ec. So if you play 6 games you will on average be +400 ec. It is true I did get lucky on my 3000 in 5 plays, but had I kept playing I would no doubt be higher. I figured I wouldn't abuse the game since the odds are clearly in my favor, but if you guys doubt me.  8)

well, after playing some dices myself, i have to admit it's an easy way to get rich. so, until i find a way to edit the pay table, i will have to limit the access to the games room.

Wow.

What's the deal with the 11 Steal Credits just purchased?  It's disabled again now - I personally resolved not to cheat at EC compilation, and I tend to cry shenannigans on that.

I think the number slots might be bugged. My EC total would jump and fall at some random intervals, even though its 100 ec per game and I only hit a small win a few times. I was seeing jumps of 500 at times and my EC would fall 300 at times. Hard to tell what was going on. Though on the next spin these jumps seemed to correct themselves and go back to what they should be at.

BU I think bdanv used them on me to get rid of my wins from abusing the dice game earlier.

Name, did you just gift me 350 EC?  Dude, thanks; the main thing I'd like to be able to do if I get rich enough is to gift people 200 when they want a custom avatar and I feel like doing so...

I did since there is nothing really to spend the EC on other than the games, and this awesome sticky I used for this thread of course. Plus Sisko gifted me 200 yesterday which is what got me snowballing to the EC I am at now so I gave him the 200 back. I am not sure how the bank works, but I am probably going to throw whats left over in there so I don't accidentally get carried away playing slots.

You're our 4th most prolific human poster, just behind Kilkakon, and if you deposit 200 EC now, in a month or so, you'll never have to ask for a custom avatar - as long as you have the avatar ready you'll be able to afford buying it.  (If you don't have one, you still can ask me to make one, but never have to to install it {unless you're [sensibly] cheap}.  There are going to be some decent goodies for sale in the Shop soon, I think.)
