I am so tired of chrisk, we need a moderator to delete his threads! These boards have worked so far, because there was no one like chrisk before. This must mot continue."If you tolerate chrisk, the Game forum will be next."

Nah, we'll just ignore him. Like always. Follow YYYH's suggestion of ignoring him, and he will go away. What we need is to let anyone post replies in the Messages from Firaxis forum, but to sack new threads with a moderator (not from Firaxis). That would make the MFF forum a lot better IMHO. |

Red Dog? Domk?We don't need a moderator. We got through those posts. All we need to do is ignore them, & ignore chrisk completely. Even if he tries to get back in, he'll just want to go back to flaming once he re-gains our trust. IGNORE ALL CHRISK THREADS!!! Simple enough. Your faithful & hell-bent NIMadier general, YYYH |

No, he is not going away. He has just posted three new threads. That is not encouraging. I ask for a moderator (not from firaxis but rather a forumer with enough time.) |

Ignore his threads enough, & he'll go away. Laracroft1(chrisk) too. We don't need moderators, we just need the patience & maturity to resist flaming him. That's all, he will go. I guarantee.Your faithful & hell-bent NIMadier general, YYYH |

Even if we do ignore Chrisk, he could post all he wants and mess up these forums making them miserable for the rest of us who are mature and want to enjoy SMAC. I suggest we ask Firaxis for a moderator so that they can ban Chrisk's posts. We need to take action. |

I will not support a movement that we get a moderator. Yes, we do have that slight problem with chrisk, but, as Pravin Lal says, "...beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master." These forums, being on the internet and being international, are for everyone to give their opinions, ideas, and other information without fear. Therefore, i cannot in good concience support a moderator, as it would severely affect what we could and could not discuss in these forums, even if there are a few who choose to abuse this privilege. |

Take my example, even though chrisk, this idiot, insulted me personally. Look at his thread about me. I will not respond, I will not flame. I will exercise determination and willpower and not respond to this child. Rather he will see the error of his ways and stop this ridiculousness. I say respond to nothing, read nothing that chrisk writes. Stay determined, and ignore this attention seeker. Thank you.Imran Siddiqui God Bless America |

There is nothing wrong with a moderator. You just need the right one, one who will sit back, delete the chrisk threads, but no others (unless chrisk decides to post more).Alas, there is no support for my proposal. Consider it withdrawn. |

intentional nexification? Nah, he'd just post more. I've responded to a few of his threads, though i'll stop and wait and see the outcome. |

Moderators are evil by nature! I don't really see the problem, anyway - chrisk is fun! (indirectly, of course). He's not really good at being offensive, though - he's trying way too hard. DCA, I only communicate with him via evil thought-rays. |

Moderator isn't necessary... and chrisk is too lacking in imagination to be annoying for long. Just quit responding... he can keep posting forever if he likes, it'll only bother you if you allow it to. Besides, as of tomorrow we'll all be too busy with the demo for it to make much difference WHAT he writes, no? :-)
