According to EA's website, SMAC will cost US$49.95.
Does anybody have any idea how much SMAC will cost in Canada, or any other country? Preferably in local currency?

In the UK games start at 45 then get the price dropped by a big shop chain and then it'll be about 35-40.I hate the $- pricing thing that seems to happen on most products. |

I think that we should just invent a GC (Global currency !!!) That would make life alot easier !!! |

Well it is probably going to 34.99 (because most games are that amount here), or it might be 29.99. This would be in one of the big chains (HMV, Virgin's, EB etc.). Belgium and Luxembourg: 2295 francs Holland: probably 110 guilders |

HMV sells games where you are? They only got into movies a couple years ago here. |

The thing that I hate is that is that the chains around here (S. Ontario) take advantage of the "hard core" gamer. If you have the patience to wait a week or two, the price will usually drop by roughly $5.When a game is released it's usually $65 or $70Cdn. Wait a week or two and it'll drop to about $60Cdn. I've seen this wil Shogo and Fallout 2 most recently. |

The amount of fun I'll get out of SMAC in the first week alone will be worth the $70 !!! The extra $5 is nothing to get a piece of digital perfection !!! |

HMV's sold games as long as I can remember buying them. Mind you it is a British hcompany, perhaps their target is different across the atlantic. |

Is it? I didn't know that. They're pretty much the biggest chain music store around here. What do the letters stand for? |

'hmv'= His Master's Voice (Remember the old record label with the dog sitting listening to a record being played on an old record player with a horn for speaker?) |
