Someone said that after Garland found that there were suvivers in the 8th cryobay and faked his own death so he could stay behind to help them. They could take over the ship after everyone left. I DON'T THINK SO! First, there COULDN'T be survivers in the 8th cryobay, It's just too badly damaged. Second, the ship crashes. In the Gamespot preview, it says that there are pieces of the UNS Unity on Chiron. It'd also be hard to salvage the Unity's Fusion Core(as it says on that sceenshot of the Planetary Conciul) if it was out in space somewhere.

P.S.
