The demo is coming in a few days.So I wanted to ask:Which faction are you gonna play first and for which reasons?
Also, I find possible that they might not have all factions in the game(crippling it this way).If they do this, which one do you think they will leave out?I strongly support the Gaians because they might have to balance them yet.

If they leave out any factions, I'd guess that they would leave out all but the Peacekeepers. I think it will be a 1 or ALL thing and not a three or four.
I guess the ones I really want to try are the Gaians, the Hive and the UoP. I will probably try all of them at some point just to see how the AI works for all of them--is there a difference in how the AI factions handle diplomacy, etc.?
I'm guessing that the only handicap will be a turn limit. (And, as Firaxis has stated, the minimum demo will be missing a lot of art, video and sounds.)

I will play the UoP and Spartans the most. The UoP will get the cool techs before everybody else and the Sapartans, so that I can have fun kicking butt.

I'll prob start with the UN, to get a good idea of what the entire game has to offer ... I'm just guessing that they are the most ballanced Faction !!!
Then it will be UoP .. then I will create an 8th Faction !!!

My first shot will be as CEO Landon of the Morgan Industries, my favorite faction.
Here is my ranking of interest in the remaining factions:
2. Believers
3. Hive
4. University
5. Peacekeepers
6. Gaians
7. Spartans
After I play all of Firaxis factions, I hope the demo allows for custom factions so that I can create combinations of some of the factions for continued fun.

There has been a survey, many years ago, and the outcome was that many players enjoyed playing the demos more than the actual games, so I believe they will find a way of excluding customizability from the Demo.
I don't think anyone will complain too much about missing art, etc. since they only enhance gameplay.
I think-though I don't have the ability to play the demo before end December-that it would be nice if they included the Gaians even if unbalanced, cause we could see how much work they do improving A.I.
Lastly, I too believe there will be a turn limit.I say 30 turns.
