Heh. Is anyone surprise Lal was against the split? I suppose I was halfway surprise at Mirriam's no vote, but the rest voting for the plan was no surprise to me. I wonder which pod Imran's taking :P

I was surprised with The Gian Decision. What the hell was Skye thinking? |

The split seems to go much more peaceful than I had expected. |

You know, I just realized... having one or more of the pods blow up (disintegrate, be flung off into space, etc) is a pretty good justification for having less than the maximum 7 players (human and/or computer-controlled)... |

Foxtaur,It is great to see you back on the SMAC forum. Things are getting exciting again, ehh?. I would also like to add an observation that there will be "goody huts" scattered over Chiron that derived from Unity's wreckage (GameSpot preview I believe). So it seems to me one or more pods will rain down over Planet without human passengers. These huts are distinct from the Alien artifacts and monoliths.

About Skye thinking she would go along with the separate pods proposal...remember, she is, at heart, an environmentalist. Of course, she would like to be Totally in charge of Planet and everything that is to happen to it...or not... |
