Ok, Ok, so maybe it isn't the fifth on the East coast of the USA (where FIRAXIS is located), but the screwed up clock say it is (hmm, that clock must be somewhere over the Atlantic). So, Happy Birthday Brother Greg, maybe your SMACing be plentiful and fun. Maybe you live to see the NIM be explained. May you see NIM be in SMAC!! The beer is cold and the attractions are all here. Renting the Amusement Park cost a lot, but don't worry, BoS will cover it (secret money source, cha-cha-cha). Consider this party on the BrotherHood of Sid!!! NIM

I never had this kind of celebration on my birthday.
Oh well. Let's get this party going! Janitor Divine, please come & get it started. I'll attempt one.
(First off YYYH spikes the punch with a massive dose of Vodka. That makes it 1 part punch/ 9 parts vodka Then YYYH launches NIM missiles across the room, over BG's head, creating quite a fireworks display. Everyone gets a good laugh out of BG getting NIM missiles blown up over his head, but luckily they were ony duds, & have done no real harm, well until the future, but we don't need to worry about that now! YYYH then brings an orchestra in, & they start playing all of BG's requests, in any category, be it Alternative, Classic, Rap, anything! YYYH then sits down & cleans his BAR, while everyone else has fun)

Sorry I'm late. By the way Greg, my friend Emily has just moved to Australia for a year. I'm sure you'll bump into her, Australia's not that big is it? (And everyone lives on the coast.) So when you do see her say hello for me.

Hmm, it seems on this day December 7th (a day which will live in infamy) many regulars decide to come back: DG, BigER. Oh well, most posts to read, and then off to the CTP forums to defend the holy SMAC from the heathens. Actually, I don't think my work it appreciated here. MikeH: Yeah, I'll be sure to see her. After all, Australia is only about as big as Western Europe, or about the same size as the US of A. So, I'm sure to run into her down at the local.
Hmm, local pub that is. You foreigners might not understand if I just use the word "local"...
But yeah, about 90% of the population lives on the coast. It is not exactly a small coast though.
And keep the party going. We can turn it into a december/demo party if we need to. IF the demo is still due out in Dec that is... =(

Local translates into Britain, but when you do bump into Emily there you'll have to beware of her buy me a drink routine, it's very persuasive.
The best thing about it is I'm probably going to go out there for a few weeks next year on holiday which is cool. I've just got to find some industrial strength sunscreen and a list of times England haven't lost at Cricket to Australia in the last 10 years.
By the way what's all this about the cheating Aussie cricketers and the bookmakers? They should be thrown off the Ashes series immediately until there has been a full investigation! (I don't think they deserve it but it'd do us a bit of good now our best batsman is back in blighty, and of course our players are cack)

Yes, shame, shame, shame. supposedly they only took money to provide wheather forcasts and pitch reports, but why the hell would a bookie pay $5000 and $6000 for that sort of info when he could call the weather beureau (sp?) to get half of it, and surely a pitch report ain't that hard to come accross.
All sounds a little shady to me.
I can see why it was covered up though, as it was only discovered just after they alleged that Malik tried to bribe them.
I tend to believe their story (despite me questioning why someone paid them for that info - Illegal Indian bookmakers are all crazy from what I hear), though they have to be the two biggest idiots around.
As for the "buy me a beer" routine, well, we Aussies are known for our generosity, so I'd shout her one or two. BUT we also expect the favour to be returned, so we don't go on forever. We woke up to you Poms ages ago.
If you're going to be coming to Sydney, drop me a line. We'll get together at my place for some MP SMAC on my two PCs. You'll have to use the crappy P200, while I get the PII 400, but you'll live.
Pome beating the Aussies at cricket over the last 10 years. Now that'd be stretching the ol' memory.
