Ouch - that seems serious. If it's true, my main disappointment will be that we weren't one of the first people to know - I'm beginning to have a feeling that this forum is now officialy forgotten. Otherwise, as I've said earlier, delays of SMAC are perfectly understandable and quite acceptable. Hmm, BeyondAC crashed my Netscape too (in quite an unusual way actually - very refreshing |

MY SITE IS CRASHING NETSCAPE!!!! I never knew that! Damn! I just tried it with the version of Netscape that I have and it didn't do it here. Can you tell me which version of Netscape you are using and exactly where it crashes (i.e.: does it crash when you go to the first page, Shocked page, or standard page). From what I can see, it is crashing Netscape in the Standard Version of the site. Can anyone confirm this? Is it crashing anywhere else? |

Version: NS Communicator 4.06 It crashes after clicking on 'normal site' in the title page. It seems to start loading the page ok, but then suddenly stops responding. I hope that helps. Btw, great site (if only you could get your hands on more screenshots !!! |

Hmmm... my netscape tends to crash for many reasons, but the beyondAC standard site works. But I have netscape 3.01, as the 4 and higher versions crashed my whole system... |

It's crashing for me too! I think I know what it is, but I'm at work right now (SMACing on work time), so I'll get to it this weekend. It should be functioning normally by tomorrow. Thanks for your input guys! |

I use Internet Explorer 4.0 and it's never crashed or given me any problems. BeyondAC loads like a dream... |

I'm glad to hear that Seely. I would hate to have a site that was slow. BTW... the information that I got about the delay in the release is pretty well founded. I strongly believe that Firaxis will not make their release date of 20 January 1999. I can't see any reason why Gamespot would indicate Spring if it wasn't true. Electronic Boutique just confirmed this. I thought maybe Gamespot simply made a mistake. |

Jason, What is your feeling about the Demo? Will that be delayed too? It seems to me that if they are still having problems/fine-tuning SMAC they would not want to release a Demo that would look/play differently than the final product. )-: |

Do you remember Dungeon Keeper I am not sure if Firaxis wants to add to that mythos. Everybody is excited about the demo. They might make some people angry. I don't think that they will push back the demo Ciao Marian |
