We are two guys who realy love civ1 and civ2 and now we have made a homepage for alpha centauri called "Addicted to alpha centauri" and we have got 0 hits........
Nonone has ever seen our page so we will be realy glad if someone just sees what we got?

The site itself ain't bad, but I have to say that if you are going to take content from the Alphacentauri pages, you REALLY have to acknowledge what you did. I mean, including the FAQ without even acknowledging where it came from??? I didn't look at the stories, but I imagine you did the same thing...
Take a look at their doco on the fan pack, or whatever they call it. It mentions what sort of credits they require.
Other than that, I prefer layout#1. Frames are getting flogged to death, and are beginning to look so, I dunno, old...

*****CREDITS***** page, the credits for
firaxis games will be EXACTLY as firaxis
want them to... (according to the fan-kit)
Else... I am the other webmaster, and I
hope that more people will visit our site.

I don't understand DJ. He posted 2 times, the first one was useless, & the second one was a one-liner which could of been put together into one message....

My point was more that the acknowledgement should be on EVERY page where you use some of their stuff. Also, the quote that you used covers images and sounds only, and was meant for stuff in the SMAC Fan pages pack (or whatever it was called). No-one has given anyone the right to use the FAQ that I know of, yet there it is, with no mention of acknowledgement...
In the end, do what you wish, I am just offering advice. I did find the blatant ripping off a little offensive though.
And take note, I am trying to do this in a nice way. I am not trying to flame you or the like, just to bring it to your attention.
