Confused? Don't be, it all in the name.1> That big Lego set in space has no name. Well, it actually has a very engineerish name of "International Space Station" or ISS. I begin to wonder if some of the world's top scientists are influenced by mild overdoses of PROSMAC. IIIS --> ISS??
I mean think about it, is there really a better way to pass the time until the release of SMAC than building a space station?
2> Although the whole thing does not have a catchy name, all of its little parts do. For instance this coming July, the U.S. shuttle Endeavour will bring up a connecting module known as Node 1. This Node also goes by the name of Unity.
Uh, I think we might have an international SMAC addiction that is worse than previously assumed. I think that many of the scientists and engineers in these economically challenged countries are not getting a government paycheck big enough to allow for the purchase of SMAC. How much money could the Italian Space Agency really have? And what about the Canadian Space Agency? All their money must go to keeping their launch pad defrosted.
These scientists and engineers are really working for one reason. They all want to play SMAC but their governments won't let them. They are just simulating the end of Civ 2 in an attempt to one day live in a SMAC accepting community. I think that the US should show its leadership in the world by providing all of these starving workers with their very own copies of SMAC. Sure the ISS will be delayed a bit longer but they should be used to that by now.
