Looks pretty good too, but I'd rather have SMAC than CivII with extra bits.
Amazing things is that they allow colonisation of sapce and ocean, which is the first I'd heard of that in CCtP.

It looks good, but a thousand more years and space too. I wonder how many hours a game will in average take.

But one thing I was missing is talks about the AI. How good will the computer be? Mos of my games will still be single games. One can make an glittering coat to an empty packet.

I will buy SMAC. Is anyone gonna buy both??

It's quite possible I'll buy both...I'm a soft touch for games like this...of course the missus might have a word or two to say about it!

It all depends when they come out, really...CtP's been delayed til sometime next year.

I was concerned they would focus almost exclusively on combat; I'm happy to see they're also working on trade, for those of us who are peaceful traders and researchers who merely want to send our ship to Alpha Centauri.
