From the review of Alpha Centauri on GameSpot's web page it sounded like the multiplayer game will not have a save feature ("It remains to be seen whether anyone can actually sit through a full multiplayer game of Alpha Centauri, but at least the option is there."). This would be a big dissapointment since there is no way a multiplayer game could complete in one session.

FIRAXIS said you can definately save multiplayer. I think the option is there to play in Iron Man mode where you don't save if you want to.
