Will each game have all 7 factions competing? If not, will it be possible in a multiplayer game to let some AI controlled factions participate?

Smurfer ... all games should have smarf amount of players !!!
Actually, it'll probably be up to you to decide at the beginning of the game, like in Civ & Civ2 !!!
You could choose the number of factions you play against !!! (I'm also guessing that you'll be able to choose your actual opponents (not the case in Civ or Civ2 I think)
One thing is for sure ... you'll definately be able to smurf !!! (Need a blue smiley !!!)
