Outlyr the Rebirth, you sound like a robot with O242 2. Speaking of robots, you hear the latest theory on the new Star Wars movie? Obi Wan Kenobi fought in the clone wars. Clones fougt in the Clone Wars. Obi Wan... OB1... hmmm, is Obi Wan a clone who changed his name slightly to avoid instant execution?

That "OB1 is a clone" theory is pretty old in fact. I think it was out there pretty much after "A New Hope" (hum...1977...that's one freakin old rumor!).
Ok, here is a rumor that should pretty much be right (seen this one for the 1st time 3 or 4 years ago) : "Darth Vader is in his dark suit because he fell in a lava pit while fighting with Obiwan Kenobi a long time ago."
Lucas stated that Darth Vader will be in the 3rd movie (release date : 2005). So, we will probably see the scene when OB1 beat Anakin and make him fall in the lava pit in the 2nd movie (release date : 2002).

The release date of "Star Wars 1 : The Phantom Menace" is May 21 1999. For those of you who didnt know.
The first trailer of the movie will be presented friday November 20 1998 in no particular movie. If you're lucky you will see it (but a movie by 20th Century Fox is a good guess to see the preview...).

Anyone else hear a new Star Trek movie is coming out, Star Treck: Insurrection I think. They gotta stop those things.

Personally, I think Phantom Menace is a bad title, but they've changed titles before at the last second, I think VI was supposed to be "Revenge of the Jedi" before they realized "Gee, a good jedi taking revenge... hmmm..." and switched it to Return of the Jedi. For more rumors, the armor Boba Fett wore some suspect was the armor that the clones used.
ST: Insurrection isn't really an insurrection, if your commanding officers commit treason you aren't insurrecting by upholding the Constitution (or the Federation equivalent of it). Besides its not in character for the eds to slaughter innocents, they would simply deport them en masse.

To my knowledge the armor worn by Boba Fet is unique and was custom made for him (read I believe "Tales from ___ Cantina" it covers the plots to kill Jabba and has one story about how Boba Fet gets out of the salack pit) just like his ship and most of his weaponry. Sorry about the spelling it is almost 2 in the morning here.

I'll mention that if you pop over to www.starwars.com you can find pictures of a teaser poster and a banner for theaters to display. Both feature a picture of young Anakin Skywalker with a Darth Vader shadow.
