That was a Capra movie Zan, and he was a wild and crazy idealistic conservative. It always struck me as a bit naive the way it was done.
Cthulu is asleep under some island in Polynesia, and I doubt he could muster the petition neccesary to put his name on the ballot.
Che Guerva was in Evita (the musical, for those sick people who misinterpreted it). A nice guy, he pointed out the problems of that evil ol' dictator and why the people should revolt and overthrow him. Let's not get too angry at him now Zan, socialists are good, it's just the dictators like Stalin that turn a supposedly ideal soceity where everyone is happy into brutal reprresive dictatorships.
