Judging by the way you were in the story, Kurn, it seems that somebody in the writing dept. at Firaxis has taken a disliking to you What a ugly way to go. Could it be something you've written in the forums?
BTW, to everybody who has been in the story, I guess your choice of faction will be somewhat easier now. I mean if the gods at Firaxis has put you in one faction or another, who are you to alter that decision? Yeah, yeah, I know the factions aren't actually formed yet - exept for the Spartans - but anyway?

When are they going to create the 8th Faction ??? The Canadians ??? I stepped down from my leadership roles to let Canadian Captain Garland take over !!!
Speaking of the story, I hope they keep it going until the actual full release and not stop it at the release of the demo !!!

By your treatment in Episode 24 I would have to say it looks like someone at Firaxis has taken a real dislike to you. What did you do to them anyway?
However, it's not as bad as some people think. The stuff that was splashed in your eyes was liquid NITRITE (a fertilizer) not liquid nitrogen, so your face didn't freeze and break off.
BTW, where did you learn how to shoot a shredder pistol? Saturday morning cartoons?
Anyway, the plastics wrap thingy. That was an imaginative way to immobilize you, wasn't it? I bet it smarts though. Getting your skin ripped off and your body squeezed down into a sushi roll has gotta hurt.
But, it didn't look like you actually died. There is hope for your rescue, perhaps by that redoubtable Spartan R.D.Junack?
Who can say?
Although I have no inherent sympathy for the Spartans, good luck to you in Episode 25.

The other conservative spinmeisters are trying to say "oh no, the republiucans are still in control, this means nothing," and he was the only repub who said "of course this is bad news for us. I signed up for the story, but it was probably too late, since there's still a long line of people to kill off.

How come Yo keeps surviving his appearances in the story? Everyone else has died as soon as they're brought in.

Probably because they need someone to survive & kill Garland, or save Santiago or something? I assure you, one of these days I most likely will die. In the story atleast, for I am immortal!! I've been fighting oppresors since June 7th, 34AD!! I led a pretty boring life 'till 1770 though, anyone heard of George Washington?? That was me! I didn't die, I just went to Germany & wrote Commmunist Manifesto. Then I went to Russia under the alias 'Vladimir Lenin' & tested my government out, but then that traiterous bastard Stalin kicked me out before I could change it back to democracy, because I saw communism wasn't working! Since then I've fought in WWII, Korea, & the Gulf. In the 60's I was participating in teh revolution to topple the Hippies, for the most part we suuceded, but not totally.

There are at least two other poster survivors running around in the story: Ensign Holloway and Ensign (Rang's real name which I cannot remeber).
The open enrollment for story participation (volunteers to die)was closed in June.
The instruction to include those, oooooh sooo cute, faces is under the "faq" button at the top of the page.

Firaxis could just put the name Apoc in and make it sound foreign.

actually poc, firaxis has so far only used the names of the users who signed up to die for the crew three months ago. There was a thread on the old forums under General Comments, look it up.
