Aaaah, soccer!(American) football.. well, let's not be to harsh. I'll be honest and say that I'd have to watch it more often to judge. |

My triumphant return shall be heralded with a gratuitous American bash! American football is dull and boring. Now Canadian football - that rocks! Oh yeah, soccer's pretty good too. |

The difference between American and Canadian football is only very slight. The only difference is in the rules. In Canadian football, the field is 10 yards longer and the field is a little wider. The end zone is much larger and each offensive team only has 3 attempts to get a 1st down (10 yards). American football rules, the offensive teams have 4 attempts. In Canadian football, having good kickers is very important because they are used much more. Did I miss anything? |

Ok, here goes. The Canadian football playing fields are wider and longer than U.S. playing fields There are less players allowed on the field at one time in Canadian teams. C: teams need to get ten yards in three downs A: teams need to get ten yards in four downs |

Because we only get three downs, our teams try for big plays much more often than Americans do, which makes for a more exciting game. Plus, our balls are bigger. |

Your balls are bigger? Are they round, or shaped like pointy lemons (as US balls are...)? |

The balls are shaped similarly to the Americans ones, but I think they are a bit rounder. |
