is it possible for new players to show up after a game is in progress and join? (TCP/IP protocol) right now it appears that the only way to join a game is at the multiplayer set-up screen before game launch... this sucks for our AOL friend who is always getting booted and needs to rejoin a game in progress. it was never a problem with Civ2...

Well, that is a bummer! It would also be nice if at the multiplayer setup screen, a new player joining a saved game could see a list of the various factions showing numbers of cities and units. Another successful Civ2ism...
