![]() ![]() ![]() Recently, someone posted that they may be willing to do some CGI programming to enable and maintain a database with SMAC player, challenge, and CMN lists. Inspired by his post, I put together some ideas on what a basic player entry form might ask for. Could you guys (and gal) take a look at it and submit your comments here or by e-mail? Thanks. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a good idea ! I wanted to do such but I know nothing about CGI programming, but it may be an interresting thing to do. Based on your page I started a website. It is not fully functionnal but it offers a different way of playing. In fact you just post for a PBEM query, then it is published for other players. But the SMAC players don't know each other. They will have to post their savegames to a special adress, and they will received they turn from this adress. They won't have contact but in the game diplomacy panel. I will store the passwords and the email adress. I hope it will be ok next week... |

![]() ![]() ![]() Sashinka indicates a site is being setup. Asian Flu has already implemented quite a bit of functionality at his new Alpha Centauri Online (ACOL) site. Check it out: http://www.an.i-dentity.com/ac.cgi SMAC |
