Duh, I assumed savefiles from US and UK versions are fully compatible, the versioning is in terran.exe. Correct? |

as far as i know, US/UK combos are ok. As long as everyone is using v3.0, should not be a problem. |

I once asked that question in the Game forum, and JKM replied that different country versions would not affect the game. Even a mix of US/UK/DE/FR would be fine, as long as the same version of the patch - err, I mean Enhancement (sorry about that  ) - is used.Aredhran |

US/3.0 or UK/3.0 will not work with a German 2.0 player in MP, okay. Does anybody know whether PBEM is also affected? Ye bastards at EA! Get the DE patch out already! |

To the best of my knowledge, at least in the UK version, PBEM is actually a function of Patch 3. Before I installed Patch 3, my game simply didn't have the "Hotseat/PBEM" option listed at all under Multiplayer. Nell |

PBEM/Hot Seat showed up patch 2.0 USA for me. SMAC |
