In PBEM games it is difficult to achieve 1 turn per day when 7 players each have to take turns in order.
So that faction assignments can be made more efficiently CMN's should look up our most likely playing times under our "Profile / Interests" and schedule the factions accordingly.
Furthermore, anyone wishing to participate in a CMN-coordinated game should post your most likely playing times on your "Profile / Interests". I have used the format "PBEM 0500 - 0700 GMT" -- whatever format you choose, make sure to use GMT.

Good Point, Also a CMN starting a thread to recruit could ask for this info in response and not consider people who don't include it.

I don't have a globe handy and I don't know the eastern to GMT conversion.
So what would 11am to 1am convert to?

LOL! what Glak, only allowing yourself 14 hrs of SMAC time? you must be on a SMAC diet.
Thats the nice thing about PBEM, your time availability is not important.

Glak: EST = GMT - 5
Trick: In W9x, double click on the time in the task bar, and select the Time Zone tab... On some versions of Windows you can actually click a location on the map, and it'll show you the appropriate time zone.
I wish I could play as much as you do

i live in the eastern time zone and i think that is -5 GMT
i can play off and on from 2pm to 5am GMT
you send me a PBEM file during those times and i'll be able to respond in around two hours...
with a more specific time like setting up a session
i could log on and be ready for continuous emails...
