For some reason there is no way to give or trade cities between players in a multiplayer game. (or, atleast none that I have found) Another odd thing in multiplayer is that in an internet game or modem to modem game, you cannot give or demand cities from computer players, but when you play the same game in hotseat the option does exist. This seems a bug, but for the most part I am happy to see the options turned off. The computer is completly idiotic when trading cities. On trancent I have traded a 1 day old 1 pop base for a 200 turn old 6 pop base with 5 buildings and 2 troops, even trade. (or so the computer seemed to think) I thought at first that the computer had some tactial advantage in mind for the litle 1 pop base it took, but after another human player and myself convinced the University to give away every single one of its bases for tiny 1 pop colonys, I began to think differently. Ammusing to see him give up his last base on planet when threatened. I had no idea you could just give yourself to death, hehe. |
