![]() ![]() ![]() How about setting up a competition? I wouldn't be too anxious to organize it myself, but I would if I had to. If we agreed to a common set of starting conditions, the winners of the first round could go on to a final. If the league took off we could keep records of winners so new players could be pitted against each other to give them a chance. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Darksider: You might be interested to hear that there is already one competition underway... it's called May Madness (was started in May) and is organised by Ted S. ([email protected]). This tournament consists of pairs of games played via direct IP connection and is currently nearing the end of round 1 (I think). Anyway, I'm sure Ted wouldn't mind if you emailed him to ask about the current status of the tourney, or to ask his advice on the setting up of such tourneys. It's a lot of work I think! Hope this helps, Nell ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() I am considering one for the ACOL site. I have 2 scenarios so far. These are 2 player head-to-head maps. They are currently in testing as SP, but are designed for IP play, or 2 player PBEM. Problem is, they have an inhearant(sp?) graphics bug. It's easy to fix while playing, but who knows what will happen if set up IP. |
