Well, it has been ten turns already, and, hopefully, we have established solid foundations on Chiron for a fortunate future. Thus, I propose that the Foundation Chapter of the Archives be closed and a new one commence. What, however, shall we name this new chapter? AlexDePoll has suggested "The Archives: Consolidation." Any others opinions....?--Veracitas

In addition, we need to identify and solidify standing rules. The main issue that Alex has suggested is base trading. This is one of my first PBEMs, so I do not know how detrimental to the game base trading can become. Any suggestions on whether to ban or not to ban? In addition, what do my fellow archivists think of tribute bases? For instance, if there is a submissive pact sibling, should it not be legal to demand bases from them?Thoughts... |

Two separate issues. We know that the A(non)I is a real moron in judging base trades. Since humans can't, I'd ban it with AI too. Asking a base with menace is a different thing, that is loot or bounty, it would be a pity to loose that option. Again, humans can't give bases away, not as gift via diplomacy. |

MoSe, in SP game you can get submissive pact, cant you? Such situation in MP = victory. Why you cant demand stuff form A(non)I? If you get such pact, you should have all bonuses. Probably, base trading with AI in other status could be prohibited. I was wondered once why I cant present my base to human pact brother. |

Base trading is handled by A-I in a too ludicrous way not to ban it. I was exactly sating that extorting a base or something else with threats from an AI is a different thing, and should be retained, knowing tho that the same option is absent in human diplomacy. |
