Starting a new PBEM game - need 5 more players. Factions are first come, first serve (going by whoever actually POSTS it in the forum, please don't email your faction wants). Basic options (or you decide): - Large planet (Random map) Please, only people who can play regularly enough to keep a decent flow going. Gaians are gone already, as are Spartans. Let me know. Looking to start by end of week if possible. Thanks! RockGroin |

I'd like to play. I haven't played a PBEM game yet, so I would need to know exactly what to do. (I assume you basically pass the save game files back and forth?) Anyway, if that's not a problem, I would like to play UoP. I usually play Gaian, but oh well. |

Wow - fast responses. So we have: PeaceKeepers: [email protected] ...Spartans are taken as well (buddy of mine). That leaves the Hive and the Believers. Any takers? Actually, if nobody's opposed to the idea, I'd be willing to start the game by Thursday with computer players for the Hive and Believers.. Oh yeah, one more rule - no diplomatic contact before you actually SEE the other faction. As for a basic rundown of what to do for a PBEM game (HeatherWst, was that you): - Download the file in email Any other questions, lemme know. RockGroin |

Rock, What about other rules? I presume all victory conditions are enabled. Pods? Blind Research? Spoils of war? Unity survey? I prefer blind, no pods, no survey; don't care about spoils. Flexible though. |

I would take Believers.... I prefer standard rules |

Personally, I prefer no blind research, but I'm flexible too. Majority rules, I guess. Everything else you said looks ok. I've never played with spoils on, to be honest, so whatever! We'll see what everyone says. You can have Believers if you want them, jussip - but I need your email address to secure it. One more player (assuming we get an email address for the Believers player) and we're all set! RockGroin |

If it's not gone already I would be willing to take the Hive. Could post minimum of one per day if not more. I am also a Newbie to PBEM , so it might take a while for me to catch on. E-Mail: [email protected] |

Can you believe SIX posts from Canada during the hockey games??? |

Hehehehe... Well, we need SOMETHING to do between games. My shrink told me that staring at the test pattern on the TV waiting for the next game is actually NOT normal. |

RockGroin, Are we zipping files? -david |

I didn't, when I sent the first one off. I guess it really doesn't matter. Everyone by now should know how to handle .zip files. |
