Hi,
I'm the Spartan Faction involved in a PBEM game with other public beta testers/Brian Reynolds. I thought it would be more interesting (to any of those following our somewhat sporadic postings ) to "write" a story based on a turn's events. I've posted two "log entries", but would like some feedback. Any hints, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated.
Currently its turn 2176, Santiago's faction landed on a large island. No contact has been established with any of the other factions. No mind worm attacks either. There is this mysterious ring of eight obelisks and a "research" colony has been founded at its center...

I just had a look (it's in the Messages from Firaxis forum under the PBEM thread for anyone who hasn't seen it)
The second entry was good, it was more detailed and more atmospheric. The first entry was a bit brief but got the information over. Keep with the atmosphere as well as the information and I think it's got a lot of potential. I can see these getting really good as the game progresses, thanks for mentioning it.
