Why am I associated with that weirdo? I think Elija Wood would be better suited, mainly because (1) he can act (2) he looks more like me, and (3) is closer to my age. Also, Keanu Reeves is already Mortis. |

(j/k Greg!) =)"Whoever plays Ally McBeal as Maya" [outlyr242 the rebirth] Should I take that as a compliment or an insult? And it's Calista Flockhart by the way. And finaly, welcome back JB! SMAC forums the movie... don't forget:The great questions of mankind - religion vs atheism/agnosticism. A propos mankind: the role of feminism. The political thriller: left vs right. But the really important questions:
- Does Maya look like Ally Mc Beal ? - Who will play me ? - What's the role of NIM ? |

Wow, Antonio Banderas! Thanks! Remember, it has to be a conservative, American loving Banderas .Now the trailer (definetly influenced by the Star Wars Episode 1 trailer) Black screen White letters saying: In the beginning there was nothing 5 second shot of Brother Greg walking into an empty room and looking around. Black scree White letters: Then it all exploded Orchestra music starting up, playing SMAC theme, throughout the trailer over the many 5 second shots. 5 second shots: YYYH in a blue Union uniform pointing his sword out and yelling what seems to be "Charge" (remember no sound, the music is playing) Imran passionatly giving a speech behind a podium in front of an American Flag, and BoS written on the podium itself MikeH wiping off a bar with the sign of the I Club behind him, minutes before it opens Roland in front of an Austrian Landmark, with a laptop on his lap, with NIM written on the back of it Maya sitting down, with her back on the bark of a tree, writing quotes in her notebook Larry Boy preaching, holding a Bible out in front of him AUH2O talking to a bunch of people with a stock ticker going behind him Write your own five second scene, remember no sounds, the music is at full blast now. |

hey...jb... i'm shocked and appalled that you would even consider that! why not have the bloody head of a stuffed animal instead...it would be rather traumatic for a lot of us...a jumble of translucent thoughts (maple leaf overlapping a computer moving through some stars and planets overlapping notes and papers and books and plants and yin-yang) zooming out into a shot of the back of Q's head gazing out on the ocean with him holding hands with his girlfriend...and the camera zooms over his head and shows the front-right side profile of Q before fading into the next person at the end, have the thing fade into black and a narrator saying "The journey...", and a flash of the planet..."The knowledge...", and a flash of some surreal picture of the internet...as music crescendos, increasing frequency of different images and then as music draws to a frenzy...and then stops with a sudden black screen with the title "SMAC: The Forums (or something like that)"...and then in the silence, you have the stars and legal stuff...fades out, then the address for the forums...fades to black...

*sniff* I'm glad someone realizes I died leading my troops back in the Civil War (a past life of course. Or is it I am still leading them & this is all a dream~~~~)These forums have very little plot. Siskel & Ebert would definately give it two thumbs up. Especially if we bribe them like everyone else does. I mean, how many crap movies have they given 2 thumbs up? Siskel and Ebert ? Is this an american "institution" ?Reminds me somewhat of the CNN hype "police are chasing OJ Simpson"; guess 99 % of non americans who watched that just thought: "Who the **** is OJ Simpson ?". Hours of coverage, and no one explaining who the creep is... |

anybody else wanting a scene in the trailer? with all of the art, it might come out to be at least 9.9mb (.avi format). and: there are a lot of american "institutions", and most of them should have straitjackets in them...i hate to say this about my fellow countrypeople, but it's just sorta messed up like that. i think i'm going to move to the baku world... |

(Do they have actors in canada? Isn't pam anderson Canadian? That's a thought... nah!)I guess me and Tapiolan will end up played by swedish actors... Max von Sydow (the exorcist, three days of the condor) and Stellan Skarsgrd (breaking the waves, Ronin), maybe... |

I'm alot taller, nowhere near as anorexic, heck, I don't even have the same hair color... 2) Who cares? =) j/k 3) If we knew that, do you really think we would spend our time talking on this forum? =) Q cubed: Ah! Et maintenant, pour quelque chose compltement different.... Unknown voice: "Justify your existance!" Roland: "How can I justify my existance when I doubt my existance ?" I forgot I was Liam Neeson. Cool.I've got the first scene. YYYH strides up to the I Club, his Civil War uniform is torn tattered and bloody but his weapons are gleaming. He spits a small Clint Eastwood style cigar from his mouth and gives a classic Jack Nickolson grin, "Well what have we here?" (you'll have to imagine the voice) He strides through the saloon style door into the empty bar to see MikeH dressed in his Robin Hood greens with his feet up on the bar and a General Electric Minigun balanced delicately in his lap. "Nice tights." says YYYH another variety of grin replacing the first one. "I'm not wearing tights." "Naughty!" "I mean these are not tights they are practical woodland trousers, real woodsmen don't wear tights." "Right, whatever you reckon." MikeH flicks the safety off the minigun and the barrels start to rotate. "You'll have to leave that gun outside stranger." MikeH indicates the BAR in YYYH's right hand, "and your sword." "You gonna make me?" MikeH fires the MiniGun at YYYH's feet, YYYH doesn't flinch and looks down to see the word YES spelt out with bullet holes at his feet. "Nice." YYYH raises his BAR and shoots past MikeH's head leaving a perfect outline of his head shot into the wooden sign behind him. Upon the sign was written No Weapons. "Not bad Stranger. Barman get this stranger a drink!.... Barman! Mmmm looks like one of your shots took out my barman." "How do you think I achieved the red 3D effect shading?" "Very nice. You'll still have to leave your gun outside." MikeH and YYYH's eyes lock for what seems like an eternity. The only noise in the bar is the gentle whine of the Minigun barrels rotating. Eventually YYYH says, "I guess I can do that. I'll have an Absolut." "You'll have to pour your own, my barman is indisposed." |
