For those of you that haven't received the latest AlphaNews newsletter, here are the new factions for Alien Crossfire.
Human Factions: Pirates, Probe Team, Cybernetic, Drones, and Ecological.
Alien Factions: Usurpers, (unknown).
Some ideas as to what the other 4 human might be like in terms of pros and cons (if no ideas look at the names). Don't worry about the other alien faction because we don't have a name for them yet.

The name of the other alien faction is "The Caretakers".

Why is it taking so long to make the y Alien Crossfire factions ? Did it take this long for the Alpha Centauri factions ? I mean I want the factions now damnit and I want them now !!1

The factions were indeed revealed in the same manner for SMAC, so were the episode, which at some point were not even regular. We waited a month for an episode.

I realize that we don't know what the other factions are like, that's why I want you guys to use your imaginations based on the names of the unknown factions. For example, we can figure that the Probe faction is going to probe team bonus.

Yeah but what are they going to name them ? I mean besides the Probe Alliance or Pirate Guild. Eh, who knows. By the way sorry for the spelling on my temper tantrum post. But I am getting agravated waiting.

Does anyone know if the amount of pros and cons have been increased? (not that I can think of anything particular missing right now, but anyway...)
