I like to make new factions, it gives the game some spice have a few custom factions out there. Problem is, all of the new one's I make look like the Gians. The game gets kinda confusing when 4 out of 7 of the faction look the same. Is there any way to change the way a new faction looks, make them look like the Morgans or the Hive? And if so, how do I go about doing it?

Well, nevermind that. I feel like an idiot, just figured it out by myself. Well, if any one else needs to know how to do this, its VERY simple. I feel pretty dumb about not thinking about it. You just have to find the .pcx files of the faction you want to look like, (e.g. Hive.pcx,Hive2.pcx, and Hive3.pcx) and copy and change the name to fit the faction you created. (e.g. Imperium.pcx)
