Long ago I pondered that. However, that philosphical question achieved a clear answer that day Diedre dropped a PB on me.PLANET "earthdiedre you are from the stars but now you are of planet" <<<BOOM>>> PLANET "uh...earthdiedre what was that?" DIEDRE "Oh, nothing, just put too many beans in my vegetarian chile. You were saying?" akathisia-I shall lurk no more |

Remove some fungus here, plant some there. Give back to Planet what you take and you will remain true to the spirit of the GainsPeace |

Here's another one, I don't build mines, farms or solar on land because I want to preserve Planet's original condition and prevent pollution, but I do build forests and all sea improvements. Isn't building forests a destruction of Planets original environmental structure, despite the positive effects on pollution ? Idem with sea improvements, they don't pollute anything but they do alter nature... |

I have played a few game where eco damage by the Garians melted the polar caps. I also had the PK drop a PB on me when it was down to Lal and I. |

I've had one game in which the Gaians were the plague of Planet. They caused the sea level to rise three times within 100 years. Probably because they had _lots_ of bases all over the map. (No, I'm no a conqueror ... ) |
