OK, so now I have the TXT for my custom faction done. So how do I create a PCX file for the graphics? I totally suck at drawing realistic art but I figure I can scan and alter something. How do I get the right color scheme (since SMAC's palette is different) and is there any way to use Paint in this process?
If it's too difficult I'll just use a copy of Zak or Yang's PCX, but I'll give it a shot.

There are too many people asking this question, I just wish they would all pay attention, after all its not difficult.
Go here http://ac.strategy-gaming.com/ and find the thread titled 'PCX troubles - answers' or something, and then get on with it!
