I tried putting the CEO Morgan with +4 efficiency and +4 Economy, but it never worked. My friend said that he made the Peacekeepers get a +4 on every social enginering concept or whatever it's called

You're new to this game aren't you itdoesntfit? What is the point in giving +4 in every social. It doesn't seem quite fair, does it?

What is wrong with cheating? Its morally wrong, it detracts value from the gaming experience, and cheaters suck!
I mean.. jeez.. I try to create a balanced faction.

Oh by the way, you have to put those edit things for the social engineering table like this: social, ++++economy, social, ++++industry, social, ----morale

I cheat for fun or for effect!
But I've found that when I cheat, the game gets boring pretty fast, and I end up adding complications later, to make it challenging/fun!

With cheathing game becomes instantly boring! No reason to play when you're invincible. AlphaCentauri is made to simulate 'real' world, and there's no CTRL-K in real world.
If you desperatly need cheat, try playing on easyer difficulty level. It helps.

I agree, there's just no point to cheating, and no itdoesntfit, I have actually never cheated on SMAC. It would be dull.

Well I never cheated for one faction, I cheat for all by changing the resource modifier by putting max minerals, food, and energy as I could. Now all nations could have alot of resources and the game goes 20% faster!
