this faction is way too powerful!
thy get 3starting techs and you get to choose a tech. since they already have biogenetics that means a good proportion of the time they can choose social psych to begin with and then with the research bonus they can snap up secrets of the human brain first and get even another tech so that means without even getting any tech from pods they will defintly have four tech by 2120 and could have as many as six while the other factions will have 1 or 2 (except for the university) this is a game breaker

and you have PSI, 3 in their rules if this is what i think it is then it means they get a 3% combat modifier to psi combat. is that what you wanted? a 3% combat modifier seems useless to me

you have one less DRONE for every four citizens (extra ethics), that is a kewl idea but so far i haven't figured out how to do it. instead you have talent, 4 and this is a big differance, it makes it easier to acheive golden ages and is a fairly significant advantage but not a game breaker at all, just a nice perk

but the true game breaker is the 3 bonus nutrients/minerals/energy in the fungus squares that means with all the right tech a fungus square will provide you with 5-5-5 which is totally unfair you must tone that down significantly

i don't know why you have the psi thing so i won't make a judgement on it but if you keep

+2 research
-1 probe
-2 industry

then make changes alonge these lines get rid of the free bonus tech and maybe get rid of centauri ecology and then tone down the fungus square modifiers to +2 nutrients +1 minerals or energy play around with those changes and see if that makes them more fair

i thought that fungus when you got all the upgrades produced 2-2-2 is that right? or does it produce 3-3-3? i can't remember for sure i'll have to check into it
