This isn't fun anymore. We should all just renounce all of the rules, and just let it flow. For example this is how it would flow:
Dehlan: I killed the SITH ship.
JT: No it was just a decoy, you didn't destroy the real one.
Dehlan: Oh ok.
See, isn't that much better then rules, and fighting all the time??? If we don't all lighten up, I will quit.

It would be more like this:
J: I killed your ship!
D: No, it was a decoy!

D: No, it had ULTRA SUPER MEGA COOL SHIELDS(tm)!!
J: I had MEGA SUPER ULTRA DESTRUCTION DEATH RAYS(tm)!!!
etc.......

I suggest that we create a new set of rules that we can all agree on, then! The current rules are bieng forced upon us.

I agree with Dehlan. He makes much more sense than you, JT (no offense). Rules should not be neccasary on this forum. You are not allowing everyone to join RP-ing (wich I do not agree with). You are making up rules that we have to follow. There are a lot of things happening that I do not agree with.
But I do not like the fact that you are angry at Dehlan for not following YOUR rules. I am not following them either! In fact, I never read them before! Those threats about new rules are really annoying, you know. Unfortunatly, I do not seem to be in this "leading counsel" that makes up those rules.
Very unfortunate.
Dehlan, know that I am on your side in this matter.

Hey, I'm not mad. Korian and Galen are mad. I think there should be rules, but I can't really understand why anyone's mad at Dehlan.

For crying out loud, the reason you have not fallen foul of the rules is that you are a good player. The rules are only for extreme cases. I am not mad with Dehlan, I never asked for his dismissal. I do want there to be interesting stories, but we don't want people getting too powerful, or causing anybody else to leave. That is why the rules exist. Not to lessen the fun. If we abolished the rules and somebody became too powerful, there would be no effective method of stopping that person.
Stop complaining, I think we have agreed to the new Galactic Rule, Dehlan.
I don't give a toss what your knee-jerk reaction to rules or authority is. These rules are not in the way of roleplaying. (unless you count the proposed 'Ban Trek' rule)

I don't want to lose my temper. But whining just because there are rules if plain illogical. (you talk about the great community spirit, it was that consensus set up the rules, and makes them fair.

Actually, Ronin, if you would bother to read the rules, you would find out that anyone voted into RPing is on the "leading counsel." And I think your use of the word counsel has gotten out of hand. The word counsel means a lawyer or advice, council is the word you're looking for.

Anyway, I have fixed up the rule. It has been agreed on by most people, includeing, myself, Eccles, Galen, and (possibly) Spider.
Here it is:
You may travel to other galaxys, and you may ally with groups in that galaxy, HOWEVER, you may NOT control the galaxy.

okay, fine by me. But i think that we can bend the rules, just to make it more fun. I think Dehlan has made this more fun than the Evil was.
