It is the year 2066. Mankind has finaly developed a efficient propulsion system called pulsed fusion that will allow them to colonize the enitre Sol system, and eventually beyond...Name your nation and your capitol. Choose your territories, which can include one planet and three moons. The exception is that Earth is divided into four hemispheres, north eastern, south eastern, north western and south western. One section of Earth counts as one half a planet. When new planets and moons are discovered around other stars it's first come first serve, although I will say how much of the new territories one can aquire. Territory can only be changed through war or faction consent. No super weapons or other bizarre things. Hurry before all of the good land is claimed!

OK, my faction is called the Federated Planets of Science, FPS for short. I am Chairman Dreadnought and my faction represents the pursuit of knowlage and intellectual wisdom. My government is a strange mixture of Communism and Democracy. The Actual government is Democratic and the economy is controlled by the government. All amendments except for the 2nd (Right to Bear Arms) are applied. I claim Mars and Mars' moons, Phobos and Deimos. My capitol is named Sheffeild with a population of 450,000, and other major cities are Burroughs (pop. 322,000), New Clarke (Pop. 436,000) and Da Vinci (Pop. 389,000). I have immediatly begun terraforming the planet Mars, an arduos task which will take approxamatly a century with today's tech. Currently my workers are drilling thermal boreholes to raise Mars' temperature and will begun melting the polar caps. Small mining colonies are being established on Phobos and Diemos.

<b>God Emperor Eccles V-<b/>The rules are that you can only have one planet and three moons, since Jupiter and Uranus have multiple, it may be a bit unfair. <b>JT 3-</b you said you wanted just Saturn, you also can claim three other moons or construct artifical ones. <b>Current FPS news follows<b/> My recent mining colonies are developing into industrial cities with some one the larger cities being Welmach (Deimos Pop. 78,000), Relatife (Diemos Pop. 54,00) and Cornerstone (Phobos. Pop 42,000). The FPS has also begun plans for an artificial moon which will serve as the primary Army training facilitly and Naval shipyard. The moon, currently named "New Luna" is approxomatly the size of Earth's moon. Terraforming is being delayed by recent terrorist attacks by a very small groups of fanatics who belive Mars should remain the way it is. Atmospheric pressure has been raised to 23 millibars, still quite a long way from Earth's 110. Recent reports from FPS astronomers have detected a gas giant aprx. the size of Saturn orbiting Alpha Centauri. Further scans are being made to detect orbiting moons or other planets. FPS is currently planning to conctruct a Navy consisting of a small number of warships to defend the faction if the needs arises. I hope that HTML works..... |

I claim Luna and the nothern hemispere of Earth. Our capital is New Detroit, located on the equator of the moon. The name of my nation is the Lunar Federation, and we are a democracy, although only those with a college degree can vote or run for office. Our population is approximatly 1.25 billion. Our main task now is the terraforming of Luna, which is estimated to take about 4 years. We wish for a peace treaty with the Jovian empire and the FPS. |

EXILE'S POST- Hey hey, this is the Smugglers Confederation hailing from the orbital colonies of Uranus and our sister colonies on Miranda and Ariel. Our government (if you can call it that) is an elected group of the elder smugglers. We have a rough population of about 6.75 million. Now, our years of smuggling has allowed us to get our hands on some otherworldly technologies, resources, and weaponry. We'd be more then happy to share...for a price. Going against the usual smugglers way of evading a fight, rather then picking one, we have constructed a fleet of sufficient size to defend our holdings.
Our research is average, but periodically bolstered by incomming artifacts and such. We think the FPS might benifit from these items and the metals would surely aid the Jovian Empire in their research of Jupiter.

The Asteroid Mining Corporation specialises in taking over minor bodies and exploiting their resources, before moving on to the next. The capital, New Atlantis, is therefore mobile. Currently it is located on Pluto, while it is being mined for Resources. The Aim of the AMC (Inc.) Is to generate maximal capital gains as quickly as possible. It is a clear Plutocracy.

Picker- N/W Earth, Moon, Titan JT 3- Saturn & rings God Emperor Eccles V- Needs to shorten list of moons claimed, must be three or below. Claims Jupiter. Chancellor AoYoS- Puto, Charon, new artificial moon. President Mew- Eastern Earth, exchanged three moon for massive space station. President Korian- Northern Earth is all claimed, all that remains is south eastern, if you wish to just keep this, you can have an extra moon. Luna is also already claimed, you can select another moon or construct a new one orbiting Earth. Exile- Mirandia, Ariel and orbital colonies. Hugo Rune- Pluto and Charon are already claimed. Due size of the asteroid belt and the fact that it surrounds the inner planets, this can count as your three moons. Choose another Planet though. IMPORTANT- If you are constructing a new moon, it must take time. No, "BAM" there's an artifical moon. The moon can also be a large asteriod artificialy cought in your planets orbit this can take a signifiganly horter period of time. Artficial planets can also be contructed, time depends on size of planet.

The Confederation lives in heat protected underground bunkers, though a tough life has made us a tough people. We also claim three artificial moons that we have created orbiting mercury. Mercury, it has been found, contains far more metals than thought before. Our society is based upon industrial output and military strenghth. We have a council, three members from each moon and one from mercury (who gets double votes) which make the decisions. We have developed a technology to controll the movement of our artificial planets, and so would be very hard to attack. We have a small, strong fleet with a fair amount of fire power. JT, your offer of an allience is accepted. I can offer many metals in trade as well as advanced mining technology. I cannot disclose our military secrets to you, as the council has forbade it. But I can offer assistance with our militay. I have invented shield generators, but not hover technology.Mercury Confederation Continued" Capitol City(encompases all of murcury): Confederation HQ. Population: 50 million. Three Artificial Planets: Pop. 20 million each. Army: Infantry: 1 million (heavy emphasis on military). Each is equiped with Gauss rifle (does a little more damage than a laser rifle and far better at penatration armor, but slower fiering rate), and small body shield. Vehicals (used for invasion only, vehicals would not work in mercury enviorment): 1000 Heavy assult tanks, EIT's (Elite Invasion Tanks). Each equiped with a shield generator, three heavy gauss machine guns, and twin linked Plasma battle cannons. 20,000 APT's (All purpose tanks): One Plasma Cannon, One gauss machine gun. Transportation capability. 8,000 Artilary (again, impractible on mercury (i.e. shot goes around the world and hits you in the back.)) Heavy Plasma Mortor, one shield generator. 1,000 Mobile Large Radious Shield Generators, MLRSG's Think star wars, but some differances. I can shoot out of it, infantry cannot walk in through it. But it can be taken down and destroyed with shots, just like normal shield on spacecraft. Spacecraft: 1 Moblie Planet prototype. First attempt at converting captured asteroids into mobile space stations/huge military flagship. Uses the tech that we have that enables us to move our planets. Has great firepower and includes large shiel generator and repair docs. But it is slow and unmaneuverable. 100 Battlecruisers, 750 fighters, and 1,000 space transports. OUR draft procedures: Purely only those who sign up. But the Council awards those who do monatary gains, and also their is a heavy emphasis on military in the society. So their are many who do sign up. One requierment is that, starting at age seven, all members of the Confederation must have military training one day in 30. This amount of days decreases by three each year untill it is down to one day in ten (the maximum requiered to those not in military). Thus the army reserve is almost the whole population, or about 90 million. Each is equiped with a gauss rifle, but no shield generator. (OOC): We should each have some technolnogy (important tech, not just small such as one nation is better as mining than another) that is, at least at first, one that only your "nation" has. I have my shield generators and small artificial planet moving tech. I believe that this would make the game more interesting and make each faction more unique.(end of OOC) Head Counciler Datalink |

Since it has been seen that people have been showing off their military. I have decided (along with the council) to print out this incomplete technical readout of our military forces.--Army-- We don't have much of one, but when we can, we add mechanized walkers to our "army" outfitting them with the latest technologies we research/get our hands on. Mostly Plasma based technologies with the odd Gauss Cannon --Space-- Ah, we have a fleet, and most of it will be shown here. -Stormrider Cruiser: Main fleet ship, long range, descent weaponry comprised of addopted guass technology and anti-matter missiles/torps (buy this technology now for the low low price of whatever you have to offer! Food or mechanical parts would be accepted!). Armor and shield rating souped up with alien tech. -Saucer Carrier: Carries 1 wing (75 fighters max.) on it. Has lasers to defend itself. Weak armor and shields as protection was traded for more space. -Scimitar Battlecruiser: Only 2 known to exist in Confederation fleet. Thick armor, shields, and point-defense weapons screen. Carries massive Gauss Cannons and anti-matter launchers. Shield system exposed to space though to cool system, covered by other shield system when cooling... -Nova Interceptor: Light armor and shielding to increase speed. Lasers and missiles for defense. The traditional one-person fighter. -Singularity Bomber: THicker armor and shields at the cost of speed. Carries laser in the rear to fend of chasing interceptors. One Gauss Cannon in front to dogfight (should the pilot be stupid/brave enough to). Carries load of space bombs/ torps/ missiles as needed. -Misc.- -Nomad Colony Ship: Colony ship, carries point-defense guns to blow up any asteroids/wayward space objects. -Spyglass Research Vessel: Unarmed research vessel, can turn into small rsearch station as needed. (Roll 1d10 for chance of technology in ship's computers) -Spacelifter Cargo Vessel: Do I need to explain this? ============================================= Well, that's all, I ommited some parts about the things that are to sensitive/jelously guarded to reveal. As of our recruiting procedures: Hey, if your between 20-50, male/female, can operate ANYTHING. Your eligeable, to get payed for a 2 year term. Public training is not manditory but hey, if we get attacked and you die cause you wern't trained, you waive all rights to drawing out of the government aid fund (legal tender for the fund covered by the fees needed to be payed at the beggining of training and for continual lessons ) (^_^) ============================================= Well, that's that, no invincible ships. Even the Scimitar has a glarring weakness. So I thing I'm following RP Council rules. -Exile "I once had a puppy, I named him Stay, and I used to confuse him. "Come here Stay, COme here Stay". May I join in?The Solar Confederation has been founded, we are a nomadic tribe of warriors, whom left Earth long ago to create an orbital nation which remains dangerously close to the sun at all times. MC: We request a treaty. As for military, we use a total of five primary vessel-types. Flare, Cosmic Assault Craft, A fast, lightly armored and heavily armed starfighter/bomber. This is our all-purpose craft and is the most common. Podship, Mobile Military Fortress, A small, spherical base which is also used for colonization. Indeed, all SC bases and cities are based off the Podship design. Some Podships are equipped with weapons of mass destruction and used as bombers. Nova, Destroyer Ship, Houses a crew of about two dozen, Novas are made for bombing missions. They are still nimble, and are quite capable of destroying larger, more cumbersome ships. AA-Carrier, Used for carrying Novas and Flares, of course. Incinerator Space/Air/Ground Craft, A space craft which houses a smaller land walker within, it is capable of battle within atmospheric conditions and is lightly armored and armed. It is primarily made to escort and deliver the Incinerator Ground-Walker which is much more powerful than its counterpart and is used, obviously, for invasions. OOC: Since the SC is nomadic I think I should be considered to have no definite territory but currently hanging around the sun. |

Hey, lets not turn this into a "I can post that I have more ships and better weapons" than you war. Lets try and be semi realistic. This will make it more fun and enjoyable. Please explain why you have certain tech, and don't go overboard. I will explain my post now. 1 million infantry. A huge number, I know. But if you look later into my army, you will see why. Anything BUT infantry is not very good idea as close to the sun as my confederation is. Thus you see the rather few amount of tanks and artillary. These are for invasion purposes only. Also, as my planets are not very large, you also see the small size of my fleet (comparatively). Now, I don't know if anybody but JT read my suggestion, so I will repeate it. Everybody gets to chose one tech that only they have, to make each faction unique. This would add, I think, more flavor to the game. Think up a nice tech, but chose for flavor and not one that IS WAY TOO POWERFULL! After chosing, keep a rundown list. Also explain your tech. Datalink (thats me): Shield Generators. Use from small personal to fleet sized. Personal will, at present state of development, stop two direct hits befor failing, or 4-5 glancing blows. This makes my troops tougher. Space ship sized, at present development, will stop 25 missles. Disadvantage: Slows troops down, because of the weight of generator. Uses much energy. JT (Please tell me if I got your gist wrong JT): Laser Technology. Absolutly hideouse against infantry. Easy to shoot, and fast shoot rate. Gatling laser particularly effective. Larger lasers can be used as anti-air guns and battleship turrets, etc. Disatvantage: Uses alot of energy, not as effective at piercing armor. Now please chose your tech. I would suggest that the tech that everybody has is not that much greater than that which we have today (i.e. still use missles as main ship weapon probably). This will make each factions special tech more unique. You also don't have to chose a military tech. Now I also suggest that Exile retracts and makes a new army list. JT, retract your most recent one is best, I think. Remember, when choseing army lists I, AND ONLY I HAVE SHILDS, AND ONLY JT HAS LASERS!. AL Gore: You look good. Perhaps your tech will be Incinerator Gun? Remember, don't make it too powerfull (i.e., so huge only fits on a walker. Also expensive so only a few can be built. But very powerfull. Something like that.) If people don't like my suggestion, then please explain why. Otherwise, lets do some RPing!!!!!! Head Council Datlink |

JT 3: Alliance proposal accepted Dreadnought: Sure, why not? Venus could use a little terraforming, and I need someone to give all the surplus minerals to. However, keep in mind that all surplus fuels my outpost produces go to the Smugglers Confederation.-----Military of Venus Outpost----- We have a twenty-five man security squad to keep things under control, and as well we have two hovercrafts to patrol the surface of the planet. Both are armed with standard machine guns and Fire-rite rocket launchers. In addition to that we have two short-range fighters and a third one under construction. They are small and agile, but not very well armored, and armed only with a missile launcher. -----Research----- We currently have two research projects under way. The first one is to product effective laser weapons. This project will take quite a some time to complete. Our other project is to create a quasi-nuclear fire&forget missile. This project will quite soon be complete, giving us an effective defense weapon. However, we will not sell this invention to anyone. -----Industry----- We have just opened a small mine to get some precious gems for our laser research projects. The mine also produces some building materials and fuels. We have just gained some new hydropotanics technologies from the Smuggler's Confederation, so we are quite self-sufficient. |

Unique tech? An incinerator gun sounds good, how about..Due to the fact that the SC has been living in close orbit with the sun for many years, we have, obviously, learned much about it and its phenomenon. Our scientists were able to create a weapon which could duplicate a very, very small version of a solar flare. A weapon which is excellent for invasions as it can wipe out whole brigades of infantry and even small vehicles. It is especially effective on Earth, where the atmosphere and native life are highly flammable, and one shot could cause a massive chain reaction. These weapons require such power, care and money that we only have a handful. They are equipped in some of our military Podships and on our large variant of Incinerator Walkers (think AT-ATs from Star Wars.) About our society and such, The SC is a highly military oriented society. Approximately 10% of the citizenry work in the military, and about half of those are warriors. The government of the SC would be hard to finger. For the most part, we need none. The existance in perilous orbit to the sun, and the constant threat of attack has brought our people incredibly close together. Crime is almost non-existant. But when authority is needed there are two commanding castes, myself (Imperator) and my generals (Kaisers.) Every military officer is promoted for skill, not valor. Tacticians climb the ladder to become my Kaisers, while the Kaiser's second hand men are the high-ranking warriors (grunts.) In this way, our warriors have the most powerful voice. And the people accept this, because they feel that warriors are the best suited leaders in such chaotic times. Our scientists are now researching two major projects, one is to create exceedingly powerful engines able to propel our craft 50% to 100% faster than the norm. The other project is an effective shield against the high temperatures of the sun itself, so that we may one day hide our nation inside the protective sheath of the corona. |

Okay, military exacts..We have 150,000 Flares (keep in mind they are two-man little jet-fighter types,) there are two major variants - Flare Spacefighter, Equipped with Quad Mass Driver Missle "Cannons." To save space (and cost) we have turned missles into little more than large, powerful bullets onboard a Flare. They are propelled by mass drivers, they do have minimal propulsion systems for navigation purposes, but nothing more. Flare Spacebomber, Chunkier and slower, the missles in the quad missle-cannons are replaced with heavy thermonuclear missles complete with retrorocket propulsion systems for precision. The missles can also be quickly redirected to be dropped out the bottom of the spacecraft. We have 5,000 Nova Destroyers, They have a dozen of the aforementioned missle-cannons, two of which have nuclear-tipped rounds ala the Flare Spacebombers. They are also equipped with three plasma cannons for emergencies. The Novas are also designed in a way so that they are suprisingly fast and nimble in combat.
We have 25,000 Incinerators, The aircraft are light, fast and weak. The compartment where the walker is held is detachable, and will automatically eject iself if the spacecraft is destroyed in flight. The walker has two variants, large and small. The smaller variant is a four-legged spider-walker with small engines for movement in space and for emergency landing. It is short and compact with a full missle rack and dual plasma cannons. The larger is also four-legged, and stands about 35 feet tall. It is equipped with a dozen plasma cannons and dual missle-racks. There is space on the top of the walker for an incinerator gun, although only a few of these walkers have been retrofitted with the new weapon. 1,000 AA-Carriers. 400 Civilian Podships (just big, spherical space-cities with a radius ranging from a 1/2 to 2 miles, they are all equipped to be mobile) 25 Military Podships (Act as mobile command centers and large carriers,) OOC: I know the Podship deal is a bit hard to swallow, but after all the SC has no definite territory, so just consider the civilian ones to count as such. |

Not to mention a strange new metal we have not encountered yet. Reporter: And with the meteor orbiting a neutral planet, how will the different factions go about this? The SC has finished its greatest project, the Olympus. An enormous Podship the size of a small moon which will encase a massive civilian city at its core and a military base at and around the surface. It is now the focal point of SC resistance, but regardless our forces are still formless and scattered..We will also unveil our latest military design, which the Smuggler's Confederation was unfortunate enough to meet up with in a conflict around Saturn, losing one of their most prized battlecruisers. The design? The Intruder Attack Droid. Intruders are small spider-walker droids which are designed to walk on the outside of large spacecraft to destroy them from the inside out. They are small, about 4 can fit in a compartment designed for Incinerators. But their power is tremendous. There are three variants, Intruder Saboteur, Equipped with SCALPEL-Class Laser weapons used to carve entrances in even the thickest of armor. Saboteurs have explosive devices which are designed especially for covert placement. Saboteurs have electronic equipment designed for the hacking and destruction of internal networks. Intruder Destablizer, Equpped with a heavy Mag-Lev cannon, dual Anti-Personnel guns and a SCALPEL-Class laser, Destablizers are designed to destroy hull-mounted weapons and kill unsuspecting crew and space marines. They are extremly deadly in combat, easily able to tackle two or three space marines by itself. Intruder Kamikaze, Equipped with a powerful thermonuclear device within its "stomach," Kamikazes are sent in last with all Intruders to go inside ships and destroy themselves, causing tremendous havoc capable of annihilating even the most powerful of battleships. We have begun mass production of the Intruders, and hangar bays for the droids are being built in all SC Podships, AA-Carriers and even some Novas. Eccles, it is good to see that there is atleast one out there who is not as bloodthirsty as the Federation and its allies. We will up the ante on this bid to 40,000 credits. --WAR NEWS-- The SC's fleet, given great size due to the appearance of the Olympus, has been detected by the Federation. To be precise, the main fleet of the SC is now in a deserted area in the Asteroid Belt. We have set up a thick minefield, and many of the asteroids themselves are filled with thermonuclear proximity bombs. Approximately 65% of the SC fleet is now here, and a majority of our civilian podships. We will, of course, be moving shortly because of our discovery. The remainder of the SC fleet has now moved into siege position over the MC's artificial moons. Bombardment is already underway. The fleet was able to sweep around the sun and arrive unnoticed because our 15 Podships were sent into the corona as a diversion. Finally, the citizens of the Freedom have been expierencing bizzare epidemics, and this is no fluke of nature. Once again, the SC used our siege on The Freedom as nothing more than a diversion. While the Federation had focused on fending off the small attack force, our internal spies were able to release multiple viruses and poison the water supply. The viruses are extremly difficult to cure by normal means, and highly contagious. The posion is engineered, and incurable by normal means, period. We do, of course, hold an antidote, and would be willing to trade it in exchange for a beginning of negotations with our agressors. Either way, the majority of the Freedom's crew and citizens are now the hostages of the SC until further notice. |

A light, remotely-piloted Scout ship plunged into the sun after running the Solar blockade. The resulting explosion has had a strange effect, the sun has expanded .0050050% and has engulfed the recent Solar ships into the deep corona where they were burned in the same fires they thought would protect them. The Council has approved the use of biological weapons in this matter. Millions of the new Extinguisher Bio-Poison Pods have been launched at the core Solar group. I agree to the alliance. Our Heave Ion disruptors ahve disabled 4 SC attack cruisers in the last hour. We have taken control of these ships and are sending them to the rendevue point. I personally am aboard the Centuarian, the massive battlestation that is moving toward the Asteriod belt. Well, it "injects" the plague through airlocks or any open holes. In podships, that is most usually engines or the aformentioned airlocks. |

OOC:Chancellor and Exile, I'm sorry to dissappoint you but the SC doesn't have any cruisers in the first place. Our only military units are Flare spacefighter/bombers, Nova destroyers, Incinerator Walkers/Airships, Intruder Droids and Podships. Plus, I'd like to see you guys actually try some strategy besides "We invented a counter-weapon to all your new weapons and moves." C'mon, your anti-corona destruction device also destroys all my Podships, and at the exact same momment you develop a perfect anti-Intruder droid out of thin air, and to top it off are able to infect my entire population instantly with some magical virus? It gets boring that no matter how hard and how innovative I try to be I can't win a single battle because of some magical new weapon that appears out of thin air. And I don't mean that in bad sportmanship way, I mean that it's just that such a cycle gets boring after awhile. |

Very well, I declare neutrality for me and my faction effective immedietly. I will pay back the punitive dammages. I have found that my people have suffered in this war, not due to an enemy attack, but by my overzealousness. So, to remedy this situation, I resign from the alliance and declare neutrality. I will still continue lobbying for an established System Council to lay down laws. |

OOC: Al, how you find that because some of my people are sick they are hostages is beyond me. I still have all my people.IC: The virus that the SC thought would work wonders has done little damage. As it is not fatal, proper administration of pennicillin has stopped the infection from spreading. We have isolated the viral germ, and are producing an antidote. Approximatly 10,000 people have been infected. OOC: "Bloodthirsty"? Explain to me how attacking civilians, releasing infections, and STARTING THE WAR are not bloodthirsty. All we're doing is defending ourselves(you attacked an asteroid that all of my allies had claims to, so you attacked first). Oh, yes, and remember the rules? THE LASER IS MINE AND MINE ONLY. I will ignore the Intruder posts until you remake the Intruders. IC: Eccles: We bid 50,000. |

OOC:JT 3, lasers exist today, I don't think you're going to have a monopoly on ALL of them, just your special war brand. Intruder lasers are for breaking and entering, not for blowing up stuff. But if it is that important to you than you can change "SCALPEL-Lasers" to "Precision Incinerator Guns" And I was role-playing propaganda by saying "Bloodthirsy," sheesh As for hostages, I meant that their lives were at my mercy, not that I had them directly under my control. Exile, I don't mean that you need to take it that far, just a few less instant-counters once and awhile. I like the challange of taking on the world, just not the challange of an invincible one. For now I'll consider all your stuff in effect, except for the bit about cruisers since, I'll reiterate, the SC has no such vehicles. IC: We shall bid 55,000, Eccles. We are disguted at such Federation hypocrites who supposedly uphold life but also wish to enslave a million innocents for a few meager credits. --WAR NEWS-- The SC forces in the asteroid belt have scattered, but the mines remain. The siege of MC artitficial moons continues near the Sun, apparently the Federation is too concerned with protecting itself to aid their allies. We have sent a large fleet from the former gathering at the asteroid belt, complete with Intruders. The MC's shields are extremly resistant, and we admire them for their courage, but they cannot hold out forever. The Makeaveli, Caravan XIII and Marco Polo, all Federartion trade ships, were captured by the SC's Nova Merchant/Passanger patrol fleet. We raided the manifest, seizing valuable data on Federation and Smuggler fleet positions, the crew has been executed and the remainder of the ships destroyed. We have, however, spared the lives of the captains, as we will be interrogating them shortly. |

No, I meant what I said. I'm officially out of this war and are neutral... I will supply arms to both sides (the neutral US did this in WW I before they joined allies)Place an order, quantity, and ammount you will pay, I think you will find my prices cheap as I am letting you set them (be reasonable) We're also "legalizing" our main trade. We will be changing our name to the Trade Federation (no affiliation with the one in TPM) to stop the similarities between our former acronym and the Solar Confederation. |

I was buying them as soldiers, not slaves. Would you say I was hyppocritical if I bought tanks? No. This is the same thing. Besides, in the Federation, soldiers get citizenship. So, they wouldn't be slaves anyway.20 Federation Battlecruisers and 2 Armaggeddons arrived at the siege of the MC moons today. SC fleets, being attacked from the rear, quickly retreated to regroup their forces. 3 Carriers and 2 more Battlecruisers are on their way. |

The FPS is back! After prolonged military buildup (Read: I was out of town) we are able to completly and totally defend ourselves if the need arises. ****FPS NEWS***** The alliance between FPS and the Trade Federation (formerly the Smuggler's Conferderation) is in the final phase. The Alliance is expected to be official within five days if both sides cooperate as planned. Terraforming of Mars is now complete! The Martian atmosphere composition is approxomatly 77% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen, 1% misc. gasses (water vapor, carbon dioxide). The planet is 44% Land and the rest water, the two largest bodies being the Sea of Marineris and Indepence Ocean. The FPS military is now appx. composed of 332,980 Marines and 1,232 Battleships, dreadnoughts, cruisers and carriers. Specs- Battleships, .75-1 mile long, crew 4,998. Dreadnoughts, .50-.75 miles long, crews 3,000+. Cruisers, .40 to .60 miles long, crews 2,000-4,000. Carriers, .75 to 1 mile long, crews 3,000-3,500. The current flagship is a 3-mile long battleship/carrier named the FPB Tsunami. It is complemented with 35 wings of fighters/bombers and has a crew of over 7,500. The FPS has also established a large network of space based sattelites aremed with nuclear missles and massive Guass cannons. This is hoped to hamper any invasion effort or completly destroy any enemy ships approahing FPS space. New Luna, the artificial moon is also completed, this station has played a large role in bringing the FPS military up to its current level. Venus terrraforming is aprx. 46% completed. ******** Exile, when our allliance is official, I will be glad to assist you in any military efforts you may be occupied in currently. I will expect you to do the same if I have a similar need. |

--WAR NEWS--Today has been a great day for the Solar Confederation's war effort. We have found glaring weaknesses in the Federation's defense network, and have exploited them to their fullest to win many victories. The SC assault fleet has reappeared to attack the small dispatch (2 Battlecruisers, 3 Carriers) sent to rendezvous with the Federation at the MC moons. The Flares and Novas have moved swiftly and quickly, and although we suffered loses we were able to completly destroy a Federaion Battlecruiser and leave one of their Carriers crippled. The fleet has since then scattered. Our Nova patrol has won a great prize today, the Leviathan, a massive Federation cruise ship, was captured today. Many rich and distinguished Federation citizens have been taken into SC custody as war criminals and their valuables have been seized. Because the Leviathan is so extravagent, we have called a Podship which will carry the vessel to an SC gathering point to be carefully dismantled. Finally, a portion of the fleet which protected the Olympus has also appeared in the rings of Saturn, where this war began. Once again, we have employed hit and run tactics, Flares swept through the rings striking critical research stations, while the Federation was able to retaliate with planet-based weapons, destroying many unofortunate Flares. However, our objective was never an invasion, we were looking for the MC's Asteroid Prototype ship. A wing of Novas, using the Asteroid ship itself as a shield, boarded the vessel using Intruders. Intruder Destablizers made short work of the vessel's crew, and a handful of Saboteurs found all the data we needed on the inner-workings of the vessel. The Intruder-Kamikazes were then sent in and turned the asteroid into space dust. Once it was confirmed that the data was safe aboard our Novas, the wounded fleet scattered to regroup and repair. |

OOC: Ok Im getting confused who is the Trade Federation? We are moving our battlestations and our new Mojo-class warships back towards FRS space. We are now stating our formal neutrality and are offering our services as mediators to this conflict. Our space is closed to ALL BUT merchant ships and any attempt to bring us back into this war will result in trade sanctions and military action against the agressors. We wish to hold a conference to form a trade agreement between all governments in Sol. We ask for a cease in hostilities until the conference is over. |
