*Transmission from the Landtag building,
Koblenz, Hessen-Mittelrhein*
Hello and greetings to all new states in the
world. While I cannot name everyone in person, all of you share the vision of
uniting forces under your flag.
We have had a lot of internal trouble recently, since the provinces have elected
their Landtage, or state parliaments.
Altogether, the DSDP(my party) have won
majority in over half of the Lands, although
mostly with coalitions-either the Liberals
or the Greens.
In case those territories have not been
claimed yet, I would like to expand into Denmark, Alsace and Lorraine, as well as the
old German provinces east of the Oder river,
Pommern and Schlesien. This forms six
new Lands, for which elections will be
held soon.
The offers of treaties that the MRF and
the ISA have uttered are hereby accepted.
As soon as they have passed the FedPar,
trade will begin.
Organization: The German Confederacy is
organized by principles similar to
the Federal Republic of Germany before
WWIII. The Lands, or provinces, hold quite
a lot of power, since every law must pass
the Federal Counsel, composed of representatives of each province.
Currently, the provinces are(with capitals)
Wallonien(Dunkirk)
Flandern(Brussels)
Holland(The Hague)
Niederrhein-Limburg(Maastricht)
Niedersachsen(Bremen)
Schleswig-Holstein(Lbeck)
Mecklenburg(Rostock)
Brandenburg-Sachsen(Dresden)
Sachsen-Mittelelbe(Leipzig)
Thringen-Anhalt(Magdeburg)
Hessen-Mittelrhein(Koblenz)
Nordrhein-Westfalen(Dsseldorf)
Saarpfalz(Kaiserslautern)
Oberrhein-Baden(Karlsruhe)
Wrttemberg-Franken(Nuremburg)
Bayern-Salzburg(Salzburg)
Donauland-Krnten(Linz)
Vorarlberg-Tirol(Innsbruck)
Liechtenstein-Graubnden(Vaduz)
Tessin-Oberland(Bern)
Romanien-Jura(Genf)
The new territories haven't been organized
yet, but they shall soon be. In addition,
the cities of Amsterdam,Berlin,Frankfurt,
Vienna,Zurich,Hamburg and Cologne each form
a citystate with all the same rights as a
land. The Federal Constitution court has
been moved to Cologne(the old office
buildings in The Hague are open for an
embassy now).
And, by the way, both the President and
the Federal Parliament would like to express
all their best wishes for Korian's wedding.
Sorry I could not attend in person, but due
to the internal squabble at the time, I was
simply unable to do so.
And now, for the final results in the state
parliament elections of Hessen-Mittelrhein:
DSDP(Social Democrats): 39.2 %
CDPD(Christian Democrats): 34.4 %
LDP (Liberals): 11.2 %
GLA (Greens): 10.4 %
Others: 4.8 %
This means another socialliberal coalition.
The coalition talks have already begun, and
will finish soon.
