Dehlan: Are we in position?
Helm: Yes sir.
Dehlan: Is their fleet destroyed?
Millitary Officer: Yes sir, all enemy ships orbiting this planet are destroyed.
Dehlan: Charge Planet Destroyer Alpha.
Chargeman: Yes sir.
Dehlan: Say goodbye to your family, Eccles.
Chargeman: Planet Destroyer Alpha, charged.
Dehlan: Fire.
(Planet Detroyer is fired on Eccles's family planet. A large explosion is seen, followed by a powerful shockwave.)
Millitary Officer: The planet has been completely destroyed, sir.
Dehlan: Prepare fo_ WHAT THE HECK IS THAT!?
Helmsman: Enemy ships closeing in fast sir!
Dehlan: Deploy the fighters, AND GET US OUT OF HERE!
Helmsman: Yes sir!
(The ship deploys it's fighters, and vanishes, then a bright flash of light is seen, and it is gone completely from the solar system.)

OOC: Dehlan, I think destroying an entire planet in one hit would be classified as "supermanning".
IC: The UPK will not take sides in this war, although if the measure is passed, AOP ships will back up Eccles. These are AOP ships, however, and they do not belong to the UPK, so I will not be at war with Dehlan if they attack.
Dehlan, I urge you to stop this fighting, it is over a single spy. You are fighting in a war which will destroy thousands of lives for one life.

For one, it isn't supermanning, remember the Hive? For another, i'm hoping that Eccles will back down, so that there will not be any more deaths. However, I will not back down.

OOC: Yes, I do remember the Hive, and that was, oh, about 15 Factions blowing up the planet. We can do that now with our nukes. One Faction, however, cannot.

Dont tell me you forgot about my supermissile! I kept warning everyone, and they finally started listining at the last second.
Of course, my supermissile could only destroy all life on a planet, not the planet itself. But hasn't my tech improved over the last few months?!

Don't forget, these are Shadow ships that I captured. As long as I have a reasonable story behind it, it is not supermanning.

When did you ever capture Shadow ships? You just announced it out of the blue in the Marshal Law thread, but you never explained it.

Ok, here is the whole story.
When I was ressurected, my command ship was about to attack a Shadow fleet. Their captain was dead, and I was the only commander on board. I told them to veer over above their Planet Destruction Beam (they only had one at the time) and fire a ionic torpedo into it. The reaction is as follows,
Shadow ship is disabled, we board, take over, do the same to the other four ships.

It doesn't matter whose it was originaly, you are still blowing up planets in one hit. That's supermanning.

There is a rule against it Dehlan, if the Council for Roleplaying is still around (try 20 days back)
I will back down, but I have no family (I killed them myself, to risky letting them live, I agree with Nero) so lets just say you destroyed one of my Achean Colonies.
