"Optomizer Datalink, we are aproaching the edge of alien territory sir!"
Datalink slowly opens his eyes. Its been a long haul, this whole mission. What origionally was a colonization fleet, sent out to colonize three worlds in the near by Xathy system, has ended up in a totally disastoriouse adventure. Ariving at Xathy, a wormhole had opended up, sucking them into it and out the other side, into unknown space. Lost, Datalink had immediatly set out for the nearest system. Then the meeting with the huge alien craft, the desroyed scout, and now finally approaching alien space. "We must contact them" he thinks, for their supplies are running low. If they are hostile, then we may be doomed.
"Sir, we are droping into normal space, and aproaching what appears to be a alien listning post. Awaiting your command sir"
"I will be in the command room in two nillets, await my order"
In the command room, Chief Optomizer Datalink gives quick instructions to his officers. "Communications, attempt to make contact with the listinging post. Navigator, plot a quick escape route just to be on the safe side. Scanner, Report!"
"Appears to be unmanned sir. It says somthing on the side of it sir, but we cannot dicipher with our translator biots because of the limited amout of vocabulary."
"Alright, then we will wait hear. Make sure that our ships are seen by that post. We will await the arrivle of their fleet for two days. After that, we will enter and attempt contact ourselves"

JT3 and Dehlan, Cheif Optomize Datalink does hear by accept your overtures of peace and safe conduct to recieve new supplies.
I would also ask a boon of you. If there be three unoccupied type M planets that would be sutible for colonization, i would like to colonize them. My fleet has the raw materials to set up three colonies. In return for the two above item, i can offer very advanced technological achivements in the biology field. Through our recent scanning, we seem to be far ahead in this field than you, though we do fall behind in the field of robotics and computers. We can talk about all of this in more detail later in person.
Dehlan. I would have to review the New Republic charter before joining. If it meets the standards of my people, than i will happily join.

I own three M class planets surrounding Sol Liniar. I never colinized them, and would be happy if you wanted to colinize there.

I also have three M class planets. Marshall Xix was going to colonize them, but then he went back to his own planets.

JT 3, I accept your invitation of colonization, and will attempt to repay you in some way or another,of which we can discuss later. Once linked up to your ship and resuplied, i would like to set out immediatly to them. I can have those colonies up and running in very quick order, as this was the origional intention of my fleet. I also offer you a peace treaty and trade pact.
Dehlan. In no way do I dislike the option of colonizing your planets. It was a very attractive offer, and i thank you. I also must regret to say that i cannot join the New Republic, as a few of the "rules" are not compatible with my species. But i thank you again for the offer and good will. I also would like a peace treaty with your Republic, and perhaps a trade pact?

Greetings, friend Datalink. Apologize we for lack class M planets of, but one mind/planet are we. Also masters the genetic code of are we, but new material always appreciated is. Perhaps biotech exchange possible is?

To Dehlan: If you can do that, then who's to say that neural net and support packages weren't launched? Can you truthfully say that I launched no colony ships? I thought not. [OOC]I know, you probably thought I was gone from the RP forever, but I'm back now, and I probably should have read up on the events since I left.[/OOC]
To Datalink: Only part of what Dehlan says is true. Planet was destroyed, but I escaped total destruction by launching pods capable of sustaining portions of myself, augmented by computers, to either unite and rebuild in space or split up and colonize new worlds on which to continue my existence.

Ok, as long as you have a beliveable background it's ok. And I think that the ship thing is pretty good, but wouldn't that make you like Datalink?
