So this is my first try at a new faction:The Explorers Leader: Scout Leader Jean-Marie de la Fontaine Background: Central African Confederacy; Unity Nav Sys Overseer Goals: Exploration Bonuses/Hindrances: +1 Research (curious) +1 Planet (respect of the unknown) -1 Probe (carefree) -1 Morale (quite non-combative) Gains 1 additional movement point and 1 additional view radius for each unit. May not use "power" opinions?

Well, first, their research aganda should be "Explore." And . . .Is that bonus movement & view radius possible? If so, it really unbalances the faction. +RESEARCH, +PLANET, -ECON, -MORALE is a little on the powerful side already, and on top of that you in effect give them Doctrine: Mobility to start, as well as 150% the move rate once they do get it. Not to mention the increased view radius . . . Consider replacing one of the bonuses with a penalty. That'd at least make it workable. |

Ospero, Give them -3 hab limits-they don't lik crowded cities, or like open landscape, etc.Oh, and Marburg, isn't that an Ebola like virus? I think it first broke out in Marburg Germany with a bunch of monkeys, and a lot of people met gruesome deaths. At any rate, thats pretty cool. High Priest |

Adam Gieseler, no it is not possible. This would be fun to play though. I agree that this is an overpowered faction though if everything was possible. Hab limit might balance the faction though. |
