Hello, I was wondering what I would have to do to join in on the RPing. Do I just have to create a faction and submit it for approval? I really like Alpha Centauri and I also like to Roleplay. Are there any special rules for building or research?

Basicly, yes. Also, get some territory(make a system up if you want).
You build a military with your bases on your planets. You may have up to 750 ships(excluding fighters), and you may gain a new tech every three days, or, if you're a researching Faction, every two(although noone can really think up techs this fast; it's more like a new one every two weeks for everyone).
Oh, yes, and if you join the RPing, join the AOP.
