The Amethyst Confederation is made up of people who believe that the human race is flawed. They believe that the human race can be engineered and altered to a state of perfection and purity. To this end they change their minds and bodies - adding enhancements or electronic parts to themselves to improve themselves. The first one of these, and probably the most important is the mind-chip. This chip records everything sensed by the brain back to a nexus, where anything important is sorted out. This information can then be sent to anyone with a mind-chip.
Bonuses/Penalties: +1 Morale (Believe that they are superior) -3 Probe (Mind-Chip network easily intercepted) +1 Research (Good flow of information by mind-chip network) +1 Police (Miscreants can be found out and captured) -1 Industry (People not too willing to do menial labour) -2 Growth (Enhancements make growth slower?) Free Recycling Tanks for each base For every five citizens (rounded up) there is one extra talent Not allowed Fundamentalist Politics
Any comments?

i think it might be kinda underpowered because of that -3 probe that can really hurt in a probe war.

No way. They're pretty even. I mean, look at the UoP. They've got -4 when they learn the Knowledge value! And they _still_ are a pretty good Faction. Even when they don't build the HSA.

I'm still a bit worried about their negative growth AND industry rating. Any thoughts on this?
But it does seem pretty well balanced.

The talents and tanks make up for this. Tanks give you more minerals, and golden ages will make the growth normal.
