First the Evil:
It isn't a very good name for them, but in your language it is what comes closest to it.
They are from another Plane. As far as we know, there are two Planes. The Higher Plane, from wich the Evils come, are the creators of the Plane, where we live. The people from the Higher Plane are also those many you refer to as Gods.
The people from the Higher Plane "control" this one, by inspiring people to do things. Right now there is a semi-war going on on the higher plane. Two groups are at war. One group wants to keep things as they were (they are the "Good side"), and wants to keep us out of the war. The other side (who we call the "Evils") wants to draw us into this war.
This creates a big problem: the Good side refuses to interfere with things going on on this Plane. But the Evils want to gain complete control over us, and thereby create an army to use in the Higher Plane.

They are manipulating races so they start conquesting other area's and races.
But no-one else then us knows about this. So all you see is another race starting a war against you. So you fight back. But your enemy has the advantage of the Evils, who can see what is going on (not perfectly, but they got a good tactical overview of the situation). And the Good side dows not want to interfere with us. All they care about is what is going on on their Plane.
So we are left alone against the Evils. This would not make a fair fight. There is a good change that we wont survive these attacks without help. So one person from the Higher Plane, Ammu, desides to help the people here. And so she creates the Guardians with the help of her followers.
The Guardians used to assist people in tactical combat. This creates an advantage for them, since we also have an better overview. This way, we even the odds.
This all has happened thousands of years ago. The War has raged on all those times. Sometimes it manifests itself on one planet, like earth, or on a far larger scale, like the Battle of the Ancients.

We have recently made a plan that allows us to knock out the Evils forever, and thereby allows us to control ourself, without the interfering of the Higher Plane (this is the ultimate goal of Ammu). But we need help.
We must destroy several key armies of the Evils. One is the Shadow Army (that is why we are here). But there are eight others, scattered over this Plane. We cannot fight them alone. So we need help.
And the people and armies in this sector are powerfull ones, altough they are small. So we want to help you develop better weaponry and tectics, for wich in return you will have to assist us to destroy the Nine armies.
We hope that there are people who want to assist us in this Battle. If you do, please notify us. It is of great importance to the survival of this Plane. Ronin out.

We believe that one of the Evil *races* is the Confederacy. We are uploading information now as to show the evidence that supports our claim. This, however, should be dealt with differently. I am sending a small detachment of Telepaths to the Confederate Worlds to delve deeper into their thoughts. It is rumored that the Marshall is a cross between a Shadow and another unknown race. He may be the beacon of the evil energies we have felt.

We are *hurt* that you would consider us evil. As of now all alliances with all races are suspened pending an investigation into these horrific lies. We are declaring a state of national emergency and are sending our fleets to our borders. Any attempt to sned Telepaths or such into our borders will be considered an act of war.
Also Chancellor, I am a cross between Shadow and an Ancient. I have been around a long time.
I repeat all alliances suspended and fleets to our borders.
The Shadows have signed Treaty of Friendship with us. We will be cooperating more with them as they seem to be the only ones we can trust.

We have found some more disturbing news of the Confederacy. Not only are they evolved from Shadow they seemed to have been biogenetically engineered by the Ancients. It is possible that the Marshall had a hand in this.
Our sensors have picked up widespread movement of Confederate and Shadow fleets. They seem the be working together to show us that they will not go quietly if we being our crusade against evil. This leaves us in a precarious spot. How will we deal with them?
There is an emergency matter that we are trying to solve at this point. Around an hour ago the Confederate Colony of Antiga Prime became a telepathic beacon which we sensed rather strongly. We believe this beacon to be possibly drawing the other Evils to our space. Our hails by the Marshall have gone unanswered.
What should we do?

The WhiteStar command has decided.
We are moving towards the Confederate home planet... We have enough prove now that they are under Evil influence. They have merged with the Shadow fleet... We must act now, before they become to powerfull. We can take them. The Confederacy is not one of the Evil races. They are only under Evil influence, and are partially assimilated by the Shadows.
This is what you get if you are partially Shadow... We must act now. Fellow Guardians, converge on my position and prepare for attack.........

Stop this now! You can't just go to war because you suspect someone of being 'evil'! How do I know you are not making this up to justify attacks on the Confederacy. Just because their leader is half shadow, it doensnt mean he is evil. Turn your ships around, or I will use force

Is this even morally right i mean attacking a once former ally to u all just because of his chosen heritage, this is not right there is little proof of his connections to the shadows.
I can not intervene considering my factions weakened state and that our most powerful weapons do not surpass graviton guns and neutronium armor along with singularity engines and that our largest ships do not pass dreadnought class (our capital ship (only 1)) and the rest r mostly just destroyer and frigate class ships along with our grate class ships (they smaller than frigates larger then fighters and much more manueverable then both with a higher weapons capacity than the fighter)
So i plead with u that war will inevitably break out between u all with false accusations being thrown at each other because i do not want to be pulled into this war so i will protect my borders with my most elite and pray for the best.

I know this all sounds strange, but we are certain that the Confederacy are Evil. Not because they are half-Shadow (I am a full Shadow... And I am NOT Evil...), but because of their reactions against us.
The Chancellor said that he had evidence that the Confederacy was Evil. At that time the Chancellor was not yet a Guardian. But the Confederacy immediatly immediatly revoked all Pacts, even with people not yet involved. Then, the First Evil Fleet (also known as Shadows) moved towards his space, but not to attack. They joined him.
For us Guardians, this was enough proof that he is under Evil influence. If anyone wants to help fight them, perfect. If they do not want to do so, fine. We will not consider them enemies.
For the moment, this is a fight between Evils and Guardians. No one else is forced to join this battle. We just hope that there are people out there who believe in us...

I am still in the fight. There is more than enough evidence that they are evil. I had to remove the telepathic ability from my citizens because they started to riot and chant strange words about controlling the universe or something. They stopped immediatly after I removed the telepathy.

Unfortuneatly I am still in the war against the Evils, excluding the Confederacy. Our metamorphis has changed us into a beacon of telepathic power and we are drawing them near us.

Day 2: Massive alien fleet amasses outside Athenian space.
Day 3: Build up of alien fleet continually monitored.
Day 4: Hour by hour they continue to grow.
Day 5: We start to mass our elite close to our borders.
Day 6: We await the first move of this alien force.

In my current situation, AOP membership would be welcomed as long as i, not obligated to attack Marshall, because for me u r only half way of convincing me of his evil intentions.

You do not have to join in a war the AOP is in. The AOP protects any of its members who are at war. It also has its own fleets, so we can vote wether or not to send those fleets to attack. That does not mean that you are in the war, however.
