This was based from Morgan.
I'm kinda halfway into a game with it; had a REEEEEAL slow start but now picking up speed with bigger base sizes. Any ideas?

I wonder if there's anyway to give them a bonus on the economic victory. Or give them probe team success bonus for their ability to buy out competitors or steal their ideas.

Way underpowered.
Drop the HAB COMPLEX requirement or the support penalty.

Make the probe rating positive, and add a negative police rating (won't matter much with Free Market anyway). Definately drop the population cap. Then add either a beginning game bonus of credits, or a positive efficiency.

Negative efficiency would make more sense. Windows handles system resources pretty poorly.

Thanks, I think I'll try dropping the hab limit and give him some starting cash. Maybe with reducing the support penalty to -1 the free minerals will help him grow faster.

I thought the faction was balanced already. Few people realize how big a bonus +2 economy is. The minuses of this faction are fairly small separately, but combined they even things off.

I changed support to only -1 because early expansion (at all) needs the free minerals at each base. I changed my mind everybody, the hab limit keeps the +2 econ from overpowering everybody else. Oh and I put in JT3's quote
