Is it unbalanced? This is the first faction i've made, so there can be some slight problems... |

Two problems I see:These faction worse than the Beleiver in research. -2 Research plus Punishment Sphere which halves whatever they already get. I saw a discussion of this earlier and it seems that the 50% votes is hard to implement. |

Hawk: First, ditch the punishment spheres. Instead, give the faction one talent every four citizens, and a +2 police rating instead of the morale. The -50% votes would definately need to stay if it is possible (if you succeed, tell me how). If it doesn't work I'd probably give them a -2 planet or probe rating. (I'm not taking the probe thing from Miriam, but from the Genejack's effect on mind control). |

I don't think brainwashed people are ery talented. is it OK like this? -2 economy -2 research +2 police +2 support +1 industry no democracy -50% votes in council or -2 planetIll see if it is possible to make -50% votes. Once I find out ill post it here |

After some testing I came to the conclusion that it is impossible to have -50% votes. If some one knows how to PLEASE tell me how. At this time the Brain Washed faction has: -2 economy -2 research +2 police +2 support +1 industry -2probe or -2 planet no democracyIs this good now?

Yah- you're probably right about the talents. What's their first tech, though? You might also think of pulling a Miriam, no tech before 2110. |

You definately need to play test it though. With this much imbalance you could find games nearly impossible, or way too easy. If it is too hard, I would pprobably add a rec commons to each base automatically to help kill early drones. If it is too easy, I would add an extre -2 efficiency (too much narrow thinking creates beauracracy). You would probably have to penalize the faction a bit more in the Research and maybe Economy ratings (and definately no research before 2110), but if it is too hard, and you dislike the thought of a Rec Commons, you might try for a free Research Hospital in each base (Surgically altering drone effects for mindless citizens). |
