There are several things I want to say.
First of all, I'll introduce myself to newcomers. I am Ronin, leader of the Guardians of Destiny, former commander of the Guardian Counsel, once a powerfull group. I left because of several things going very wrong.

I am the introducer of the Shadows. I intended to create an powerfull alien force, a strange enemy, who couldn't be easily defeated.
For this I used the history of the Guardians (I have written it down once). To make it very short: the Guardians are a group of species who are on an never-ending crusade to destroy what we call "the Evil". The Shadows are only a minor group of them. Many things have happened before: glorious battles, sad losses, many battlefields were used (that didn't happen on this forum). The Guardians were almost destroyed. Then I decided to move onto this forum.

I hoped to give this forum a little boost. I created a powerfull enemy, and without further interverence people started to ally in groups. Then I decided to let others join the Guardians. There started everuthing to go wrong.
This is mostly my fault. I didn't tell all the history, so all of you didn't know what the stroy was. I should have told you...
Everybody started to chance the Shadows. I saw it was to late to inform all of you, and I tried to correct several matters. I made the Shadows stronger (wich didn't work: everybody else became stronger to...), and eventually decided to disband the Guardian Counsel, in order to repair the damage.
But it was to late.

I decided to leave this board for a while. I hoped everybody would forget about the Guardians, and that the Shadows would dissappear somehow.
Then I would be able to reintroduce myself, more carefully, and try to fulfill my plans without these problems.
Unfortunatly (again...) the Shadow War still rages in this quadrant. I still have the same storyline to go on, and I would like this forum to join in.
Participation of more people makes the storyline more surprising.
I hope anyone has an serious idee how such a thing could be accomplished. This time, I wont hold back information. If you want to know something, just ask.
Meanwhile, I am trying to bring the Guardians back into your storyline. If my plans fail, well, I'll still be around to witnes what happens here.
I hope you don't mind...

One more ting: could somebody please inform me about the new leading fractions, and there aglience? I have been away for a long time, so I'm running a bit low on info. Thanx.

Ronin, hey, we haven't seen you in decades!
Anyway, here's the basic info(which will still be a lot):
-Invented another race besides the Shadows, called them Acheans, fought them, won, they're now surrendered Pact Brothers
-Herclux Combine comes. Leader is Chancellor AoYoS. In AOP
-AOP is one alliance. I am supreme commander, AoYoS is military commander, Eccles economic commander, Galen political commander. Michael and eladimir are also in it.
-UA formed. Korian, Collins, and Winston are part of it.
-Brotherhood is now Collins' Faction. They're basicly a race of cyborgs.
Correct me if I missed anything, this is my first post in two days.
PS-Ronin, if you want to, you can join the AOP. If not, that's fine with me, as I understand you may not like it because of last time.

It seems things have surely changed... Well, we thank you for the offer to join, but as Guardians we stick to our own Guardian group. Joining another group can give us many problems: we no longer decide who we want to attack, and we will have to exchange our tech, wich we rather keep to ourselfs.
Not that we don't thrust all of you (except Korian), but there are some dangerous things among them.
About those other forums: they're private ones. They cannot be accessed by outsiders, and they don't accept new members. They are all linked, and accepting new members in one of them, or in all, will disrupt the storyline. I'm sorry... (it was difficult enough to split the storyline so I could move it to this forum!)
That's it I guess...
If anyone wants to join the Guardians, please state your Fractions policy about military, politics, economy, etc. etc. IF your idees coincide with ours, you will be accepted as an Guardian. You will be given access to ALL of our tech, but you will not be allowed to excange it. Ronin out.
