I can't make my custom faction, because of the bloody red field limit. 8 is too low! 16 would be enough. :-(

That's a limitation of the game itself, not ACEdit. Also, IMHO it's sort of reasonable because too many modifiers make factions more confusing and harder to play-balance.

I think the game also limits how long the faction power sting can be. Once I typed in too many parameters and not all of them got processed.

We are talking about the same limit. I know it is in the game itself, but it stil sucks!
