We have engaged the Shadow Fleet that was stationed in the Achean/AoP demilitarized zone. As of now we are patching you in live to the Dreadnought and Chancellor AoYoS...

AoP Lexington: "First strike wave on course to target Chancellor."

Good see that all fighters are launched and....

{BACKGROUND}-- Sir, Shadow Battlecruiser decloacking in sector five, sector six and eight. Sir the Lexington has been hit, it is diverting all power to shields.

Move to intercept the Shadow Battlecruisers and send the Primary Shock force orders to destroy any Shadow ships they come in contact with also....

{BACKGROUND} AoP Fulton reporting 400 casualties and major damage to their outer armor and .... AoP Fulton has been destroyed.

Concentrate all fire on that Battlecruiser bring it down.

{BOOM-CRASH} Direct hit on the Drive system damaged 10% helm is sluggish.

Sir the Shadow Battlecruiser has sustained heavy damage, it is on a course to ram us.

Send the AoP Gali to intercept order it to ram it if necessary.....

Chancellor Impact in 4 seconds, 3, 2, 1, (IMPACT)

Sir major damage to the outer hull patching in all power to repairs. Sir I recommend we move you to the escape pod.

No I will not move from my command. Send all forces against all remaining Shadow ships. Concen-----....

Order all StarRunners to ram that Doomstar and concentrate all fire upon those titans.

AoP Trieste move to flanking position. Defend all damaged ships and counter-attack.

Sir the Trieste has just been hit by that damn cannon weapon aboard that Doom Star. Our forces are depleted to about thirty percent. We have sent word to the AoP about the situation they have told us to retreat and fall back behind the defenses.

Fine. One more option though, transport all personnel to remaining ships and prepare the Dreadnought for ramming speed. Destroy that Doomstar.

(After retreating the Chancellor watches as the Shadow Doomstar falls victim to the Dreadnought and descends upon an asteriod.)

We are awaiting reinforcements. Our total losses are around:

70% of all ships destroyed
over 3 million AoP officers killed
Command Ship Dreadnought lost
All StarRunners Lost

We need reinforcements badly.

"Good, take us into the fray, cloaked. All fleets be on the lookout for Shadow engine signatures. Also----"

Assistant: "Shadow Doomstar straight ahead, signatures of four Titans and Battleships also detected."

"Wait until the decloack then lock on with weapon systems and decloak on my mark."

Assistant: "Sir jumppoint activated. Needleships approaching."

Needleship Commander: "Augustus has sent us to you to help defend the AoP from the Shadows. We are at your service."

"Good, stay cloaked and ready all weapons, and decloak on my mark."

Assistant: "Sir, Achean Doomstar hailing us! Patching through."

Achean Commander: "We have information for you, Chancellor, it is a weak spot in their armor. You must take down their shields to do it though. Uploading now. Doomstar out."

Assistant: "Shadow fleet decloaking, weapons systems and shields not activated."

"Mark 3, 2, 1, DECLOAK NOW and fire on that weak spot. All fighters aim at that damn cannon and take it out before it gets us. AoP Charon and Pluto stay near holding sector 5. AoP Battleships hear this, when shields and armor are low ram any Shadow ships possible."

Assistant: "One Shadow Battleship destroyed all others raised their shields in time. AoP Galo has been hit, they are preparing ramming procedures."

"Arm the Dim Tears, fire upon my mark, mark! Power the Star Destroyer's aim at these coordinates and fire! AoP Charon use that Particle Accelerator and hit that damn Titan. AoP Pluto charge that Mlu-Lye-Kai and fire after we get those damn shields down."

Assistant: "JT 3, is hailing us, patching through."

JT 3: "Chancellor, I will be sending more reinforcements for this. Keep up the attack. JT out."

[BOOM] Assistant: "Sir shields down to 70 percent but holding."

"Take that doomstar down, all craft fire upon these coordinates."

Assistant: "Doomstar power core overload, it is imploding."

"We are turning them back, we have w-------

Assitant: "Jumppoint activated. Sir Shadow DoomStarS in sector five and six."

"It's a trap, fall back into the defenses. Power the Star Destroyers on those sensors. Fire upon plasma shield closure."

Assistant: "Remaining ships have entered the shield. Star Destroyers are firing. All advancing craft have moved away."

[Later, I contacted the AoP]

"We must drive them away before their fleets arrive. If they arrive in full force, they are capable of bringing down that plasma shield and entering our territory. I call for a massive strike to destroy the fleet stationed there, before the other ships arrive. Maybe this will make them rethink their strategy and give us time to attack."

JT3: I would think AoYoS would know where to hit them, as he's the only one that's actually been on the battle line.
Eccles: Yes, but his strategies obviously aren't working. We need something new.

<Video commlink opens on main screen. AoYoS is there.>

AoYoS: I heard that, Eccles. We do have something new. The Acheans have identified small weak spot in their drive reactor. If we can break through their sheilds, we can destroy them easily.
Galen: The key words there are "if we can break through their shields". We haven't done that once yet.
AoYoS: We haven't focused our fire on single ships to destroy the shields yet. Just give me time. I will be able to do it. We have got reenforcements from Augustus Michael. JT3's new fleet is half an hour away. This will work.
Eccles: Fine. But don't blame me if it doesn't.
JT3: Also, AoYoS, maybe you shoul-

<The commlink suddenly vibrates violently>

Commander: Sir, we're under attack!
AoYoS: WHAT?! Fire back now! Shields to full, charge all weapons, launch fighters!
JT3: AoYoS! Retreat now! There is no way you can take out their shields in this battle!\

JT3: Enson, what's going on?!
Enson: The transmission has been cut off. The Shadows raised their comm jammers. The fleet is retreating, but they've already lost two battlecruisers.
JT3: Open a wormhole to their coordinates now!

"Their attack has ceased, We have lost. Their suprise attack wiped out over half of the fleet before we could retreat. Galen that strategy will work and we will begin to use it. Ad. Kown: Holy ****! It's just......... gone! The whole moon! There's nothing left but some debris!

<Later, the pilot is talking to Kown>

Pilot: It was the hugest ship I have ever seen! Bigger than at least three Doomstars! It had this huge weapon! I----I don't know how to describe it!
Kown: Slow down, kid. You're saying this weapon destroyed the entire moon?
Pilot: Yessir. It blew it up, then the entire fleet retreated. Everything's gone now.....everything.....

Prb Sta: "Sir we have detected a Shadow Fleet moving towards these coordinates it appears to be the fleet that contains that Planet Destroyer in it."

"Contact the AoP planets, tell them of these coordinates. This fight will most likely determine our fate in time."

I am lucky to be alive. My Battlecruiser flew out of range of their shots, and all my needleships were deployed. In the first 2 hours, we seemed to be winning. The needleships were pounding the hull, and the Shadow's guns could not seem to hit them, but the thing was just to big. Then the fighters came out of small tubes. The hundreds of Shadow mini-fighters swarmed my needleships. One Needle Carrier was destroyed.

The Shadow's ship was out of range of my doomprobe's effect, not that it would have dont much, because the system's star was a white dwarf.

My last carrier got 55 needleships before we escaped.

We have launched the counter offensive and are proceeding to destroy the Shadow fleet. Many AoP ships have been destroyed, but the shrewd tactics and manuevering of the needleships sent by Augustus, the Dreadnought's forward cannon, the Nova's forward destroyer, the Sophia's forward cannons, the suicide ships Eccles sent and last, but not least by far the superior tactics and weaponry displayed by the Confederacy. We have drove the Shadow Fleet back across the Demilitarized zone and are proceeding to wipe up any straglers. We hope this is last that we will see of the Shadows for a while. We are ----

Assistant: "Marshall Xix is hailing us from the Confederate ship Guardian. Patching through."

MARSHALL XIX: "Greetings Chancellor, we send you news that all Shadow ships are reported destroyed, we also wish to report the seizure of two of their outpost's orbiting the Furhal System. These are in our labs and we are deciphering them as we speak. We will send this technologies pending their discovery. Xix out."

We have underestimated the power of the Confederacy. They have saved us from the destruction of colonies and the killing of many beings.

The Second War seems to be still raging between shadows and your kind. Unfortunatly, we Guardians cannot choose sides again. My fleet is currently in sector 54. There are many shadows among my people. We have also Shadow ships. Do not attack us. We have learned from our last encounter, and cannot be caught off guard again.

Even though we are not on your side, we must warn you. There is a large Shadow fleet ammassing in sector 856. You should be prepared. The reason we are telling you this, is because amongst your people we do not only have enemys, but also a few friends, like Dehlan and JT. We cannot allow their destruction.
