I have called you all here for a very important reason. Today, three of my Battlecruisers were attacked and destroyed by a Shadow fleet. They sent this message:
"You did better than expected on that test. It's too bad for you that that fleet was using technology that went obsolete over 1000 years ago. We will now crush you all."
We need to combine all of our forces against this threat. Furthermore, I have gotten word that Achea has been taken and the Achean home world is under heavy attack. These forces are stronger than any we have seen before. I am uploading the preliminary fleet defenses:
First and Second Defense Fleets will patrol the borders of all AOP space. The Third and Fourth Defensive Fleets will stay in the middle of AOP space. There will also be one Strike Fleet in each member's space. Hopefully, we will be able to come up with a plan soon.

The Ancients speak of this race. They say they are more destructive than all stars combined.
I have sent word to the UA.
I propose we mobilize our fleets ASAP. All other non military matters are second hand now. Only military matters will be proposed.

I have received a grave message from the Acheans. They have lost all military ships and 3/4 of their colonies have been destroyed. The Achean Emperor is on course to Truixia and will be an honored guest until this menace has left us. Also all surviving Achean fleets are now under AoP control and as is their technology.
I have lost my probe station in the Demilitarized zone between us and the Acheans. We also...
"Sir HC Yorax is hailing us"
"Chancellor, we have encountered a Shadow fleet. They have moved into the demilitarized zone. We have fallen back into the defensive perimeter and are waiting for AoP reinforcements to launch an assault. Yorax out."
I am sending the Primary Assault Force to reinforce the Strike Fleet. ETA: 2 days

A scouting probe was launched, aiming at whether the NEB Shields would work against the Shadow weapons. They worked wonderfully, all except against their cannon weapon. This weapon is so powerful one shot can destroy a cruiser class vessel. I propose we research heavier armor.

Thanks for telling me the Acheans are weakened. I have seized three of their fine colonies, and am now signing a peace treaty.
I have three very productive colonies now. They are producing some ships. They are Apocalpse class, and will be ready soon.
I will send a fleet from my last offensive.

It appears we have a serious problem. The Shadows have a weapon that is powerful enough to obliterate an entire moon. It is mounted on a ship at least three times the size of a Doomstar. It appears they have tested it on my moon, Aqua. It succeeded. All too well. Over 5 million of my people died on that moon. We need something powerful enough to take out that ship.
