-The rebels have been destroyed. Order has returned to Aqua, and the fleet has returned to its regular patrols
-Having been elected AOP Military Commander, there will be some changes in the production and research of my planets: 45%(formally 35%) of government production will be spent on repairs and upgrades of the UPK and AOP fleets. 35%(formally 30%) of all government labs will be working on military technology.
-We are sending two transport ships of formers to begin the Venus Project
-A bill is being voted on in the Senate on wether or not to build a Space Station in between this system and Venus for faster transportation in the project

-With a slight majority(95 to 87), the Space Station Bill was passed. Construction will begin immediatly.

"Word has it that President JT3 is planning to construct a Light Sail ship that is going to take 900000 colonists to a previously discovered system. We are here with the President right now. Tell me, Mr. President, is this true, and if it is, how exactly will this ship work?"
"First of all, yes, it is true. The bill was passed by the High Council earlier today. We recently discovered a system near the Omega Prime system. This system, named Tri Delta, has three planets whih are habitable. We are sending the UPK Light to colonize these worlds. The light sail is acually very simple. First, a cyrochamber, nav computer, and bridge are constructed. Then, a sail nearly the size of the moon Aqua is constructed around these parts. We will use a Photon Reactor to get it moving into deep space. Once there, a light beam is shot out to it. The light actually pushes the ship towards the system. Its speed is aproximattly .0000000001 mph from the speed of light. We will have contact with the ship during the entire journey and when the colonists land. They will then set up a wormhole reciever in the system so we can reach them quickly and bring in new supplies.
Oh, I'm sorry, but there is a Council meeting in two minutes. More information will be released later."

-The UPK Light has been launched. It should arrive at the Delta Tri system in approximatly 2 months(OOC: 2 days in real life time)
-Another ship, UPK Comet, has been sent to cover the Venus Project. It will make sure any attempts to attack any part of the project will fail.

Is this a AoP world or a UPK world?

This is a UPK system for now. This might change, however.
Also, I have found a two-planet system near the Sol System which could be a good starting point for the AOP worlds. We could build two ships with colonists from all AOP Factions, and then colonize the worlds in the name of the AOP. They would be owned by the AOP, not any of its Factions. I will start building one of the ships if this is approved.

In preperation for the Shadow attack, martial law has been imposed. All Battlefleets, Star Destroyer Cannons, and Space Stations are on full alert. 99% of government production is now going towards new fleets. All research is being directed towards military techs.
I encourage all other Factions to take related steps. I do not want to lose this war.

The Acheans have agreed to peace, but only after I stole most of their remaning colonies. We must promise to return all other gains after the war.

The Fifth Defensive Fleet has just been attacked by the Shadows. The battle was lost, with the Shadows losing 2 Cruisers and one Battlecruiser, and the Fleet losing 1 Armaggeddon, 3 Star Destroyers, 5 Battlecruisers, 10 Cruisers, 2 Destroyers, 4 Infinitys, 6 Frigates, and 347 fighters. The Shadows have _EXTREMELY_ advanced weapons and shielding. We will need all our power to defeat them.

The Delta Tri expedition has landed. The three planets have been colonized. The Third Defensive Fleet has been transported there via wormhole. We expect to get Star Destroyer Cannons up on all three planets soon.

-A bill has just been passed to convert all government production and research towards military for the extent of the Shadow War. We are also paying private companies to produce ships and research new weapons and shielding.
-Another bill has just been passed to give full rights to the Alpha Sol System to the AOP.
